Hi guys,

I've recently finished my army, and wanted to share the 'rare' occassion of someone actually finishing a project.

Before:

After:

Feel free to check my dakkadakka blog in my signature. Maybe there'll be another project... Who knows

looking good my only criticism you need to break up the white and red battle damage, blood splatters even a wash. Land raider is pretty much fine other vehicles need help infantry yes in need.
Other than that like the crispness the stencilled design good nice unity.

Rare to see a project that starts with a stack of unopened boxes and actually ends with a fully painted and based army. You should be very proud of yourself The Land Raider is probably my favorite piece. How long did the whole project take?

Looks good! But I do agree with Mr.Earnshaw and some of the colors need something more. A lot of your colors are singular, like on the yellow. Adding some more shades would really make it pop. But they do look great

/agree. Would also like to know how long the project took. This will serve as great motivation for me to keep going.

The first post on his blog was 30/09/2013 08:56:45 AM. So about a year an a quarter from start to finish. Also in that time he did an Eldar and IG force. I’d recommend reading his blog, good times.

Oh, thanks Nev for pointing people to my blog

And Nev is right, I brought the boxes at the start of september (started the blog after a few weeks). I did very little over the 2 months in the summer, and managed to get a 2k point IG army painted and dabbled in Eldar.
15 months between buying the army and finishing it completly.

Thanks everyone for the comments and support.

Absolutely superb. My favourite is the raider, the big lightning thing and the weathering take it over the edge. Must bo very satisfying to finish them all. I wouldn't know as I've never finished an army
