Hello all,
My wife and I are familiar with the hobby in general to an extent but this is the first game that we're going to be serious about picking up.
Right now the armies that we think might be fun are: Chaos daemons, Chaos marines, Dark eldar, Orks, and Tyranids.
If anybody can suggest of how to actually get started that would be very appreciated.
The models we currently own are: 2 Soulgrinders, 20 Plaguebearers, 13 Daemonettes, 1 Daemon prince, 1 Dark vengeance 6th box set, 1 Shield of baal broodlord & Genestealer unit, 9 Hormagaunts, 1 Stormclaw Ork warboss, 10 Ork boyz, and enough bits to make three Terminator chaos lords on steeds.

Hi - welcome to the Dakka family!
As for starting - the Codexs of your 2 favourite armies. Then you can see what you can add to increase the size of your forces.
You will need 1 greater demon or a herald or two for your demons; you have a legal force of CSM although, normally, you can only take 2 HQ choices (lords) but I would be interested on what steeds you are using for them (I assume they are WHFB Chaos Knights??).

They are in fact the bits for the rider bodies and the five different horses. I saw a picture of a slaanesh lord with termie arms riding a steed and both my wifeand I liked the way it looked so she said that she wants one similar.
Now this may be a bit out of my skill level right not, but I want to magnetize each of the possible arms so that her first lord could have multiple loadouts. I think she'll be happy.
