I... actually don't know. Help?

I was so smart today, that I thought I could use Acetone to strip paint from PLASTIC minis. An hour later, my ´Scout legs are blobby and melty. Then I realized, that this would be perfect for Nurgle Marines, because the acetone made bubbles and blobs in the plastic. Plus some GS, this might work. What do you guys think?

I feel like melting bits to make your own concoctions isn't a great idea. Better to just sculpt them from scratch.
