Just wondering, as it is a possibility that he is one of the lost Primarchs. I've heard the possibility that something happened to his legion,Mao he joined the Alpha Legion. However, I've also heard that Alpharius' soul split in two when he was being carried through the warp, creating Omegon. What are your thoughts?

The Emperor knows and he's not a lost primarch. There have been scenes showing Alpharius's growth tube and it's described as containing multiple bodies. They're certainly a pair.

Both erroneous. Alpharius/Omegon were twins before the Chaos Gods grabbed the incubation tubes. The Emperor was fully aware of the twins.
