Fluff-wise, would Lizardmen ever use other powerful creatures like stonehorns or dragons as mounts or warbeasts if they happened to encounter them outside of Lustria? Or do they have some special affiliation with reptilian creatures?
I'm really just wondering because I want to mount an oldblood on a stonehorn.

I'm not so good at the fluff, but I like the idea. I was thinking that birds and birdlike creatures might work well too. I mean, birds are dinosaurs right. But imagine skinks mounted on ostrich-like monsters...

I'd love a Skink Chief on an Arachnarok.

That's an awesome idea, I bet you could modify a stegadon howdah to fit on top, and have an entire skink crew up there with him!

I might try it, I love the Arachnarok model, can't afford to start an O&G army, and spiders fit the jungle theme.

They might use jaguars. Those are some of their sacred animals.

Death. The eternal blink. The capricious dance of Now Ya Stop Movin' Forever. Well contrary to popular belief, death isn't just for dead people. It can happen to anyone.

That's a phenomenal idea. Replace all the goblins with skinks ? Phenomenally simple and great idea! Have an exalt.

I bought an Arachnarok and then picked up the Howdah team off eBay, and have converted it completely to be a LM unit.
I figured this: Somewhere in Lustria, there must be enormous arachnids/insects. At some point, a team would have tried to capture/domesticate them. It's definitely aesthetic as fck, a giant spider with a Lizard team on its back marching along dinosaurs. Fits the theme perfectly, because the jungle is filled with spiders.
It was easy to make it fit, I had a ton of LM heraldry bitz to attach to it. Golden plaques, a crown to fit on the Arachnarok's head, golden jewel-encrusted Lizardmen symbology, etc.

Sure, I'll get some up asap. The spider has been airbrushed with satisfactory detail (it's my second attempt doing an actual scheme with my brush), the base is still a WIP (not sure how I want to complete it), as well as the command platform on its back.

So yeah, here are my LM conversions that are still WIPs, started them about 6 months ago when I got my airbrush, iirc.
The Arachnarok was my second attempt at actually completing a model with an airbrush. You can see some of the Lizard heraldry/plaques on it, and a little bit on the platform. Obviously the base is incomplete.
This is an idea I had when I saw the 'Schleich Dinosaurs' line of toys inside a store one day shopping for my baby cousin. The scale looked bang on, so I bought one and it turned out to look great when my army is all set up on the table. This, unfortunately, is also still a WIP.
I realize these two projects still need their teams and details done, but the main problem is that I can't figure out how to paint my lizards. I do test schemes, then when it's done, I see something else and want to do it THAT way. I'm not into the standard blue skin. I've dabbled with orange, and it looks like I may settle on that.

Oh, I like the spider. The dino looks like it needs a bit more to show how they aren't just sliding of its back whenever it moves.

My final vision for it involves the use of say, thin rustic string, that will attach to the the platforms and wrap around its midsection to look like thick rope attaching the sections. After I'm done my Imperial Guard I'll get back to these LM. I just have so much to do it's comical. I keep acquiring big lots of models that distract me every time I'm in the middle of something. I probably have about 10 models that are in limbo with their paint jobs.

That'd do it quite nicely, I think.
This is seriously inspiring me; I've got some old toy dinos buried somewhere, and lots of scrap bits... I'ma try something.
