You can.

Well...

Both statlines are WS/BS 3, S/T 5, W2, I3, A1, Ld8.

- Each model may replace Heavy Arc Rifle with Torsion Cannon(?) for free
- Each model may replace Arc Claw with Hydraulic Claw for 10 pts each

Kataphron Destroyers
Equipment: Kataphron Half-Armor (4+), Plasma Culverin, Phosphor Blaster
Special Rules: Canticles of the Omnissiah, Very Bulky

Options:
- Add up to 9 additional models for 55 pts each

These are the weapon rules it seems. I have no idea what these weapons are called in english

RW = range / DS = AP

@HBMC

Pretty sure those are the rules from a previous WD, because it doesn't have any of the Kataphron options in it.

Comparing these to the next unit that comes to mind:
DAAttack bikes for 55 Pts with a Multi Melta.

You get +1 BS, WS, A and I, although -1 str (as if this matters on these)
Krak and Frag Grenades
12" movement
Ability to turbo boost, scout, outflank and hit and run

Those weapons better pack some serious punch, otherwise they're not gonna be worth fielding, despite the pretty models.

Not sold on most of this release, though I do really want one of those HQ clamp packs, if only to have an Auxilia Enginseer scuttle around the table pulling off repairs while blurting "TWO LEGS WERE INEFFICIENT AS A MEANS OF MOTIVE POWER"

Thanks! I wonder what the heavy arc rifles profile is.

Dunno. The other Cognis waepons allowed BS2 on snap shots, right? On a flamer, maybe it's twin-linked? Or 1d3+1 on snap shots?

I have no idea.

I can not and will never think this way.
I do not play math-hammer or power hammer and will never understand or really enjoy playing with people that do.
I watched someone over the weekend play a list of Draigo-Star allied with Screamer-Star....wtf is that crap.
Yes I am sure it is strong as hell and can be brutal but fluffwise it is broken as can be and gamewise it is just...
Looking through every new release for the biggest numbers and the most broken units so that they can be mixed with the other mathematically broken units is just not fun to me and using that as a metric for what is a good release or a good kit ....no.

I'm more interested in what the torsion cannon is. Or if the plasma weapon is a heavy version. Or how may shots a *heavy* grav cannon has.

I wonder what the feth a heavy grav canon is.

Centurions pack grav canons not heavy grav canons and they are salvo 3/5... these could be salvo 4/7 or better or maybe they are 3/5 but with longer range.

Very curious!

That's not even close to what he suggested though. All he did was a comparison, keep calm mate.

It is your choice, but playing DA made me very sensitive to getting tabled on turn 3, so I at least evaluate on what my next army can do.
I will get them for sure, but I better be prepared to not win a game with these... again.

Why do they even have salvo. the only way to get cannon versions so far are on things that have SNP or what looks to be relentless.

Also loving these models.
looks suitably admechy. and easy to convert for many other projects.

Looks like they will be picked of very easy. Small model count, the more armoured ones have a better save but one blast weapon if you are unlucky and dead...

But I really do like them.

Grav blast? Hmm not sure if want, though no reason to expect it to be different than the Centurion Grav Cannon, probably just more shots

But man swaping the grav for free and a phospor blaster lets make your cover save worse then hit you with grav!

They're Admech Centurions and look a lot better

That would be hilarious...

4 small-blasts, coming from each model... using the "ignores cover" formation, turns them into super Centurion, Wyvern, anti-Eldar awesomesauce. :-p

Thats the grav gun profile i believe, grav cannons are 3/5 salvo 24"

Im hoping the heavy grav has longer range, could live with 36" salvo 3/5, so it has the same reach as the phospor blaster

Whoops, 3/5 for the cannon, 2/3 for the gravity gun.

I'm somewhat surprised that the poster sheet of all the units didn't include both units. It included all the other possible dual builds. Gives me hope for the Electro Priests.

Anyway, Hail Mars.
