Can some one clear this up for me?

Can you stay embarked? 7th edition BRB says no.

Why would the 7th edition rules require you to disembark? Do you have to disembark from a Rhino at the earliest possible opportunity?

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Becasuse it says it. And it only applies to Drop pods. Must disembark the turn you land.

Because the Space Marine codex says so:

"Once the drop pod has landed, the hatches are blown and all passengers must immediately disembark." (pg 99)

@azazel Why is this even a question as it is very clear and only applies to drop pods.

The rulebook doesn't say that. The various Marine codexes do, specifically to do with Drop Pod Assault for the pods on those books.

The Lucius Drop Pod from FW says that you can stay embarked for a turn gaining the Shrouded ability. Trying to figure out if this is still the case or the SM Codex takes presidence.

The Lucius pattern Drop Pod =/= the Standard C:SM Drop Pod, so you use the rules provided for the pod you are using.

What do the rules for the Lucius Pattern Drop Pod say? That would be the relevant bit.

"-Nonsense, the Inquisitor and his retinue are our hounoured guests, of course we should invite them to celebrate Four-armed Emperor-day with us..."

Does the Codex: Space Marine have an entry called Lucius Pattern Drop Pod?
Even though different units might have comparable names, they are still different and their rules do not confer to each other.
