This is a list I wrote up to work to build for some weekend games. The guys at the store run slightly more competitive lists, with space marines, orks, CSM, Tau and DE being the main armies. I wanted more of a TAC list, not tailoring to any specific build. The sanguinary priest is going to pod down with the sternguard, which I contemplated combo-plasmas but went with meltas. I feel like the list is sort of sitting in the middle of mech, drop pod alpha strike, and jump assault. I'm not sure if it does any of these to its full potential, so C & C is much appreciated.

if you plan on using JP for reserves and deep striking then Dante would be a good thing to look at for the guaranteed warlord trait to help your reserves arrive as soon as possible

I suppose for 2000pts, you could add Dante and perhaps a jump pack/ angels wings and valour's edge to the priest. This would give you the ability to descent of angels as well as the re-roll reserves scatter, mishap and reserve rolls?

I second this. Especially now that they are on the bigger base size.

I dont believe that heavy flamers on the tactical will be of any benefit at all. Too slow and vulnerable to get in range.
