Stalwart Veteran Guard Sergeant

Arizona, US

While flipping through books looking for formations of the Imperium, I realized there were a pleasantly vast variety of sources for additional rules. However, there are no quick references for where to find these things, so if I were to be looking for additional formations for the Imperial Guard, I just have to flip through every book that deals with the Guard, which seems to be more than a few of them. My mission statement is to collect the sources for all of these along with a quick description of each. I'm not limiting this to armies that I play. Obviously, there are a ton of sources for a ton of rule variations, so this is a work in progress, I'm just hoping to compile them faster than they are released, though that seems tough to do. That having been said, if there are any obvious gaps later on, or any mistakes now, feel free to correct me and provide a source to make it easier to find. At the end of the post will be my most current list of sources. As for a quick note to the moderators, I think this is the best place for such a collection, but I'm not certain. Additionally, if I'm too specific with rule descriptions, please don't tear the post down, just provide the appropriate input to fix the issue.

To be fair, all of the SoB Formations listed here are Apocalypse only. And they sure as hell aren't from 7th edition.
