This is a short little articel and picture about commemorative prints of the 1915 Zeppelin air raids by Imperial Germany against Imperial Britain.
An interesting blurb like article with a fun picture from the historical archives.

I wonder how much damage that did compared to the Zeppelin payload.

Almost all of them for the first year and a half or so of the War. You would not believe how hard it is to shoot down a giant balloon made out of Cow guts and Hydrogen. Watched a NOVA special on it last year... it was wild. Basically, the Brits spent over a year trying to find a bullet that would make the zepplins go all Hindenburg, before discovering a method of bringing them down. It involved firing magazines of explosive rounds interspersed with incindiary rounds, because just firing incindiaries at them didn't work. There's no oxygen inside a zepplin, so shooting flaming bullets into it won't actually set it on fire. you have to tear stonking great holes in it to let the hydrogen out and then set that on fire.
Once the Brits figured out the secret of shooting the Giant Enemy Zepplin for Massive Damage, the bombing runs pretty much did turn into one-way suicide missions for the Germans.

IIRC by 1916 the Zeppelin raids were abandoned, they were only a feature of the early war.
