I am attempting to paint a DE army and some gorgers for the Ogre Kingdom. My question is has anyone else had good luck with a paint scheme to make it look like these models have not seen the light of day in many long years. The best I could figure out would be base coat with a white and then dry brush on Kislev flesh, after that I get lost.

I... actually don't know. Help?

How I paint pale skin: Base with Bugmans Glow, wash with Reikland Fleshshade, drybrush with cadian fleshtone, make a wash of a 5:1 mix of water and Rakarth Flesh, apply liberally. Done!

Post some pictures of them, I think they'll look great!

I do it like this:

1:1 of Vallejo Ivory and Pale Grey
Highlight pure Ivory
Wash with very weak purple or pale blue
Paint on some very thin blue and red streaks for veins.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of drybrush -- there is a chance of messing up the eyes, plus, a lot of the definition on faces isn't actually on the model (or is very faint) and is painted in. On dark eldar, I start with bugman's glow, layer up to cadian and then kislev. The final highlight would be pallid wych. If it's a wych look (which is more pale), then the final layer is pallid wych, and the final layer is white scar.

I am more going towards haemonculous and grotesques with little thrown in talos/cronos.
