I just recently got into the game with the Operation Icestorm starter set. I bought a couple of models to go along with it and they came with those Holo Reference Cards. I can't for the life of me figure out where to find their profiles though or what the purpose of those cards are. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciative. The main one I am looking for is Miyamoto Musashi. Thanks.

The card serve no purpose and if you go to http://www.infinitythegame.com and click the Army link in the upper right you can find his profile.

However his profile will be updated soon along with several models to N3.

Will all of those profiles be in the rulebook that you can preorder? I downloaded all of the free materials but I am thinking it might just be best to fork out the money for the N3 rulebook if it comes with all of the profiles and fluff.

No all profiles that are not in the main rule book you preordered (shouldn't be preorder now) are in the other 2 books Human Sphere and Paradiso, but those profiles are N2 and they will update them to N3 via a free to download pdf, they will also update the Army Builder afterwards.

I totally appreciate your help with this. One more question and I think I'll know what I need to truly get started. What do I need to have to play the game? I ordered a Reverend Custodier and a NIsses with HMG along with Musashi and the Operation Icestorm. What do I need to purchase or download to use those contents? I think I might be overwhelmed by all of the content and am not quite sure where to start. Thanks again.

Play the quick start rules in Operation Ice Storm and once you get a handle of those then you can try the getting started portion in N3, I wouldn't wory to much about buying or using any new models yet till you get a grasp of things.

You can start with downloading the N3 Rulebook PDF that is out now. There is a link to it from the main page of Infinity.
With that you can expand upon the intro scenarios and starter rules that will be in Op:IS

The rulebook has updated stats for a lot of the models in N3, all the rules from the basic rulebook have been updated and clarified for the most part.
Rules nad model profiles introduced with Human Sphere and Campaign Paradiso will have to wait for updates in PDF form.

I'd suggest downloading the N3 PDF, and then just starting with Op:IS. got through those intro missions and rules, then read the N3 book and try those missions against a friend.
