Is the pre-order version of the Icestorm box still pretty common? I just ordered mine and was surprised when I got it that mine still had the CSU.

It should still be fairly common for the immediate future.
I think they will stop producing it when the nomad and panO starters from that box get their separate releases, though.

Then the CSU, Father-knight and Reverend healer will be gone.

The Father Knight and Reverend Healer will be around as long as Icestorm. They confirmed they're exclusive to Icestorm, not pre orders.

The CSU is still around because retailers tend to pre order a bunch of extras to have stock on the shelf with the pre order model. When their pre order stock runs out and they order new sets, that's when you'll see the CSU start disappearing.

My local game store has O:I boxes, and they don't have the CSU sticker. When O:I was first released, the store had boxes on the shelves with the sticker, so I assume this stock is new. It's all probably the leftover shelf stock from the store preordering a bunch.

Also note that the Father Knight and Reverent Healer are exclusive sculpts and not necessarily exclusive models/units altogether.

It will be from overstock.

Sometimes a retailer will order more in case folks decide they want them once the pre-order period is over, and sometimes we get stiffed or a customer will change their mind for whatever reason

I ordered Icestorm from Miniature Market (In St. Louis Misdouri). I don't know if I'm getting the CSU or not. It should arrive Monday so I'll find out then. To be honest an executive looking young woman with a suitcase gun is not something I'm all that excited about but I guess it'd be nice if I got one. I dunno.

If not I'm happy.

I also have a Cutter TAG, one of the original "cartoony" Armored Cavalry TAGs, a Szalamandra TAG, and a Lizard TAG on the way so I'll have two starter teams and a choice of two TAGS for each. Should be fun to paint.

You won't I ordered one from them as well and got it last week.

Element Games as of a couple of weeks ago still have some of the rulebook with the ABH model too.

I dunno, it's a nice model that can proxy for a few things. I was just happy I got it when I didn't expect it.

You were correct, I did not get the CSU. However I also ordered the N3 books and i DID get the free Authorized Bounty Hunter figure with that, so that was nice.
