What would the fire arcs be for the sponsons on the fire raptor?
Can they both shoot directly forward at the same target as the avenger bolt cannon?

Depends on what they are in the rules for them. If the rules lable them as sponsons then yes they can fire at the same target as the avenger bolt cannon. If they are hull mounted then they cannot.

Probably. I mean, it wouldn't necessarily be straightforward, as the Fire Raptor is flying above the target, so it would be more of a downforward angle.

The arc is supposed to be based on the model, and the Fire Raptor's side guns definitely can't be pointed all the way forward.

Yup, the sponsons can be fired at whatever you can physically point them at.

The perk of the fire raptor sponsons is that they fire independantly of the main guns, so yeah you're never hitting anything directly infront of you with either sponson, but atleast you can shoot whatever they can see.

What if you're a spud and glue them in place?

Then you're screwed. The rules for vehicle LoS is literally what the gun barrel can physically see (unless specified otherwise).

So if your side sponson breaks and you have to glue it in place, then it can only fire the spot its glued (Even though it would be full well known what its range of motion is?)

The fire arc rules make an allowance for weapons that should swivel but are glued in place. They can fire at whatever they could point at if they moved.

There is one issue though. They are not sponson they are turrets so that means 360 degrees

Turrets don't have a default 360 degree arc.

No, it means whatever the weapon actually moves through.
The only weapons that have a specifically defined arc are hull mounts and weapons mounted on walkers.
Everything else uses the arc the weapon can physically move through.

The BRB gives an example of a turret that can fire in 360º but that does not mean all turrets can fire in 360º. Here is the relevant rule for glued or otherwise monkeyed up weapons
"On some models, it will actually be impossible to move the gun and point it towards the target because of the way the model is assembled. In this case, players should assume that the guns on a vehicle are free to rotate or swivel on their mountings."
I.E. pretend the model was put together right and everything moves like it should. But what do you do if its some obscure FW model that no one else in your area has ever seen and know one knows how its 'supposed' to move? Well the rules are a bit more restrictive but here you go.
"In the rare cases when it matters, assume that guns can swivel vertically up to 45º, even if the barrel on the model itself cannot physically do that! Additionally, assume all hull-mounted weapons can swivel horizontally up to 45º. "

Raptor is a cool model... but I would treat as side sponsons....
@Insaniak: I've often wondered about this myself. Like a land raider or a russ with sponsons or anything really. The arc was listed in the BRB as a leman russ I think, right? It shows a >180 degree arc if I recall. Several models are unable to make even a 90 degree rotation:
StormRaven hurricaine bolters
LandRaider sponsons
Russ Sponsons
Preditor Sponsons....
What gives in that case. I've always simply said 180 degrees.... not SUPPOSED to be a thread hijack.... sorry.

This is very clearly covered in the Vehicle shooting rules. And it's what I've said already - the arc is whatever the weapon moves through.
Yes, that means that some sponsons have a larger fire arc than others.
