Hey, y'all. I'm working on some IG and would like to use hammers as CCWs for fluff reasons. Before I go bugging my buddy for some 3D print time, can anyone recommend an official set which might have some appropriate bits?

I dunno... I imagined the sept guarding the Perdus rift would wear the same black armour as Ulthwe eldar. Maybe being in close proximity to the warp makes you emo.

There are these http://www.ebay.com/itm/40K-Astra-Militarum-Tempestus-Taurox-Hammer-Bits-/201201280170 on the Taurox kit. Don't know if that's what you're looking for but they are guardsman sized and I could totally see a dude wielding a sledgehammer~

The taurox hammer is what I thought of, although with 1 per Taurox kit... bits sellers are the only hope to get any real quantity of them.

'Ain't nothing crazy about me but my brain. Right brain? Riight! No not you right brain! Right left brain? Right!... Okay then lets do this!!

Official bits? do they need to look like actual hammers or can they look like war hammers? as Warriors of chaos as mauls that look like hammers iirc

Those hammers are "guardsmen sized" in that they are literally the size of a guardsman I'd use them as counts-as powerfists maybe, just because they're so massive.

I can check if the Warriors of Chaos ones are appropriately sized as I have some kicking about.

This is probably your best bet for CCW hammers

I will also recommend the Empire Knight kit, just be aware that some of them are two-handed and might have some chainmail details.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Seems like it would be fairly easy to use the plasic frames the bits are attached to to make hammers.
