It could be worse than filthy, filthy DLC... He mentioned Total War: WHFB in the same breath as mobile space. The game that a lot of people have been waiting for could be a mobile version...

I am still waiting for total war 40k, but this sounds good. Kind of my core disappointment with total war is they are history games with these preset plans and that kind of limits how inventive they can be, so a made up setting might allow more freedom.

Maybe they could do one of those things where's there's the main game, and then there's the smaller mobile version. Which, thinking about it, would probably still not be a great idea.

Oh I hope it's not a mobile. Mobile gameing has a hard time supporting a big game like this. You know from cost or even memory.

I think it was more like 2012, as it was right before THQ went belly up.

I could never beat the orc campaign, as I never liked the Dark Elf missions.

Seems pretty cool. I've been messing with the original Rome: Total War some lately (got it for $5 on Steam a while back) and it is still pretty good if you ask me. I don't think we need to worry about it being on mobile like a couple people mentioned. To me at least it read like: here's some things we're going to do with our next games that's different. This game (Kingdom) will be on mobile, and this other game (Warhammer) will be in a fantasy world.

Wouldnt surprise me if the game only came with Empire, Dwarfs, Orcs, Chaos. Buy the rest.

It would be cool as a DLC/Unlocakable faction Marianburg, Tilea and the border princes. if only for the unlocking of a Land Ship from Marianburg

I just really, really hope it isn't for the End Times.

They name their games with the "Total War" part after the particular game's title. So it's Warhammer: Total War. Which doesn't sound as clumsy.

Not true. From Shogun 2 onwards, they've put "Total War" first.

It's not some horrible thing, it's just an awkward name! But unless it did get called Total Warhammer, there's no way to avoid that. It's gonna have the word "war" in there twice.

Maybe they could go all out and call it "Total War: Warhammer: Warlords of War"

With "warriors of the war god khorne, god of war" as DLC

I think it has been a lot more like 2012, because it had been prior to THQ proceeded to go belly upwards.

I did, the first game I saw (because alphabetacal order) was Empire: Total War. Also my case for Rome: Total War sitting on the top of a stack right next to me. That was enough for me.
