Both have their flaws but which one makes more sense?

My view: 6th.
I believe 6th's was better as it showed that not all Imperial armies were the best of friends, whilst now they all just love each other for some reason.

Edit: added 5th.

7th is much better. There's no reason a grey knight would not work with an ultramarine if they were fighting an enemy of the imperium.

I miss 6th because it gave my cents free twin linked and IGNore cover from the buffmanders.

Is there a permanent stickied thread for Chaos players to complain every time someone/anyone gets models or rules besides them? If not, there should be.

I think 7th Allies Matrix is better, since the combinations make a lot more sense. However 6th's Level's of Allegiance rules are better, I still can't get over the fact that GW made BBs MORE powerful...

I'm still getting caught up on the 7th edition stuff, but honestly... from a fluff standpoint, it seems weird.

Like Grey Knights and Sisters of Battle.

"Hey girls! Looks like we're working together!"
"Aren't you the donkey-caves who killed a gakload of us and painted our fething blood on your armor?"
"....I do not recall that event, no"

From a pure table perspective, it's cool to be able to mix a bunch of random gak together and see what happens.

5th was and will continue to be until Battle Brothers are removed.

Yeah, when i read the small novel that is the Death Guard unit options and think about resolving the attacks from a melee-oriented min size death guard squad, the thing that springs to mind is "Accessible!"

You're not. If you're worried about your opponent using 'fake' rules, you're having fun the wrong way. This hobby isn't about rules. It's about buying Citadel miniatures.

Please report to your nearest GW store for attitude readjustment. Take your wallet.

Need to stop thinking of the Sister of Battle as secular humanists and more as ultra religious zealots who would wet themselves at that opportunity.

They're zealots. They like humans. They distrust anything that isn't human. Astartes aren't human - and why they don't hate them, they sure would rather hang out with their Inquisition/IG folks.

And yeah, GKs and Sisters would just be awekward with that whole slaughtering the ladies for their blood thing. Then again. they're always getting rolled for stupid reasons.
