The Del-La-Warr Open is a 2 day GT being held at the Icehouse Gaming club in Newark, DE the weekend on April 11th – 12th, 2015. De La Warr is part of the ITC for Frontline Gaming and will be using the Killadelphia missions.


$70 entry fee.

Format
2000 point event, 5 round tournament (three rounds being played on the first day and two on the second). Rounds will be 3 hours long. There will be a 40 player cap on the event.

Regulations:

All GW Codexes and Dataslates/formations issued before April are legal
No Forge World
No Non Codex Lords of War

Awesome. We have nearly 0 overhead so the prize support is real good. Getting a trophy made as well. Last year the winner got like 5k+ in orks.

Will terrain be placed by the event or is it up to the players? (I always hope the former but its good to know)

The nuevo is where i recomended most people last year. Its nice and well priced

As far ar terrain its pre placed and set up like nova last year. Ruins and hills in opposite corners, los blockers in center, and area terrain in the middle

The event is coming together very nice. We have partnered up with Stomping Grounds and are using their mission packet. Lots of new terrain has been built and we are excited to see how our format it recieved by the community.

Hey Chinsquaz, I booked also (just today) and I only get a confirmation of the booking - no request for paypal payment. Perhaps that may be the hold up for some people not having paid already? Just thought I'd note it in case this is out of the ordinary or unexpected.

Hoping enough people sign up to get this going. As Nyghoma asked, are there any restrictions to fortifications? Didn't see any, and fortifications can get a bit wacky without restrictions.

There are no restrictions other than the ones in the main rule book. Its just normal games of 40k, so you still need to follow the basic rules of the game and how lists are built.

the only restriction i put in is no forge world.

Definitely wish I could go, but just got reminded today that it's Greek Easter and I am supposed to go to that. Best of luck to all involved!
