Subject: Inquisition Unit+Transport - What would you pick?

This is vaguely related to some army ideas I've been running through lately, but I thought of a specific kind of "opinion thread" that I was actually interested to hear the answer for. And as Dakka seems to love these threads I figured I would put it up!
So the rules are, you have to pick your ideal inquisitorial kill-squad, that you would put into a Valkyrie transport of your choice, and send into the heat of battle.
12 model limit (obviously) - Edit - Now depends on the transport! but the unit should fit inside of course.
Should have at least 1 inquisitor
In fact, if you want you could instead give your ideal 12-man unit that you would put in a chimera instead, if you prefer chimeras. They do seem to be the inquisitorial transport of choice these days. The valk-squad just seemed a bit more of a fun idea haha.
Legal henchmen squads only
Edited - I've changed it so its 1 unit + transport of your choice. Legal transports for inquisitors only, of course
Included forgeworld if you like, so thats... the land raider prometheus I think. Not sure anyone would choose a land raider but still.

Acolytes x 3 with meltaguns
Servitor x 3 with multi-melta
Psykers x 5
Ordo Malleus with mastery level 1, terminator armour, daemon hammer and psycannon (rolling on divination and definitely getting Prescience)
Valkyrie with heavy bolters and missile pods.
Squad deals with TEQs, tanks and MCs (the psykers get a S8 AP1 large blast too). Valkyrie shoots tarpits before they become a problem.
Only problem is the lack of defence, which can be solved by tanking with the inquisitor only a little bit. Could replace the psykers with 3 Crusaders and 2 Jokaero, but that's less useful for taking out a TEQ squad with an AP1 large blast.

Unfortunately no longer the case - Psykers dont have psychic barrage anymore, and so they dont get the S8AP1 stuff. Instead they now roll on various psychic tables... biomancy, divination, pyromancy? I forget the choices. But basically theres not much point having more than 1 psyker in a unit. (Maybe 2 if you want a spare in case one explodes). As they are brotherhood of psykers big squads dont give more warp charges either. So you're best off having 1 psyker in each henchmen squad, to maximise warp charges per points spent.
This is a shame, as I liked the old psychic barrage thing, with the big group of psykers making a choir of death.

12 servitors with multimeltas.
They plop out the back and blow everything to kingdom come, or they stand there shouting "Darp darpadarp!" and then fall over.

You can unfortunately only take 3 servitor weapons per squad :(
Coteaz, a priest, a psyker and 9 crusaders should be able to handle a round of shooting pretty well, especially if you manage to roll invisibility. Will make for a mayor distraction and can cause all sorts of trouble next turn. Still you're much better off taking any of the other transports, capitalizing on psybolt assault cannons/hurricane bolters or a cheaper-than-normal chimera with 6 s6 shots and 3 more fire points than usual.

Yeh probably true, I may just amend it to "1 squad plus any transport". In fact I'll go and do that.

Ordo Malleus Inquisitor with Hellrifle
3 Servitors with Plasma Cannons
Inquisitorial Chimera with 2 Heavy Bolters and Psyammo
Comes out to like 160pts, and gets you 3 Plasma Cannons out of the top hatch of the Chimera, a S6, AP3, Rending shot from the Inquisitor's Hellrifle and 6 S6, AP4 shots from the Chimera (which is also giving AV12 protection). I like to think of it as a Light Plasma Tank.

Alright then: rad grenade and liber heresius inquisitor, 10 death cultists and two priests in an psybolt LRC can make mince meat of almost anything in the game. Just the cultists are 40 ap 3 attacks against -1T with rerolls to hit (book) and wound (priest) on initiative 6. And the LRC shoots an unholy amount of s5 shots and one *really* mean assault cannon as well as getting scout move from the liber heresius.
Some shooty options are 1 psyker and 3 power armor plasma acolytes in a HB+HB psybolt chimera or AC razorback, or hellrifle inquisitor + 3 plasma cannon servitors and 2-3 jokaero in an imperial bastion.

Yeah, it was vague before, more "which 12 models" than "which single, legally-constructed henchmen squad from the =I= codex".

A malleus inquisitor can, and most of the transports can. Psyflame too, on... razorback?

3 acolytes with bolters, 3 acolytes with plasma guns, razorback with assault cannon and psybolts. 127pts. Drop the 3 plasma gunners and the boltguns, just to unlock the psyback for 82pts.
Or go with what kodi says with the DCAs. In a landraider crusader with psybolts and multimelta.
Goonbanditos is also a solid choice. Great for the 36" range.

The DCA's in the landraider would be pretty powerful, but also a lot of points... must be over 400, or even nearly 500, on just the one unit. I'd be tempted to drop a couple DCA's for crusaders to up its survivability, and maybe wedge it in a crusader. Could probably have two squads in chimeras for the same cost as one in a LRC... I have no experience with land raiders being worth their points.

The crusader with psybolts is the only one worth its points imo. Tbf taking 5 DCA and 1 priest is more than enough, the other 6 can be bullet sponge acolytes.

7 Acolytes with Bolters, 3 Acolytes with Plasma Guns and Power Armor and two Jokaero in a Chimera with Psybolt ammo and two Heavy Bolters. Grab a pair of those and they are the tip of a very sharp spear.
