What models and sets do you think GW should bring back?

I think they should bring back these:

All of the IG generic character models that got wiped from the product line when they stopped making them

I'm talking Commissars, junior officers for every 2nd Ed regiment line, specialists, etc.

Also, all of the old Inquisitors and henchmen/acolytes.

Those were the 40K times I loved and felt I could build anything I needed to as I had access to everything easily - without having to buy complete boxes for a single sprue.

Currently most played: Silent Death, Mars Code Aurora, Battletech, Warcrow and Infinity.

I would like a return (with the needed restyling) of the long gone genestealer cults, and of the "generic" imperial assassin, possibly both with the associated rules (for vanus/venenum clade and - of course - of the cults themselves)..
Also, plastic gangers from/for Necromunda, could be nice to be used as inquisitoriql henchmen..

Vect. AV13 skimmer chariot with three Dark Lances and some Incubi hanging on the side to back up the man himself, we'd finally get a Lord of War special character who really deserves to be a Lord of War.

Yup, Scions came up behind them and ganked them.

Hence why they're now $100+ on Ebay for a squad.

I'm thankful I've got 20 of them; rules are still bad, but damn if those models weren't/aren't amazing.

I'd 2nd bringing back the Kasrkin, I'd also love a modernization of the 2nd edition Guard sculpts' most of them are still partially available, at least the basic squad and a heavy weapon, but they've all lost a fair bit over time. The idea behind them was great, and I'd love to see them brought up to snuff.

In terms of things actually gone; the Apocalypse box deals. Those things were amazing for boxing together high-price items players might not necessarily need, but want with a price they couldn't refuse. I like that GW's actually bringing back the 20% discount boxes that aren't full of garbage like the starter boxes were for 4th and 5th, but boy, if I could get 10 Leman Russes for more than 40% off, well, I'd have ten more Leman Russes.

Tanks for the Tank God and all that.

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.

Squats for sure. Barring that, the Flayed Ones original models. The new ones look dumb.

Pariah come to my mind.
However, the new Necron codex is coming out soon and there is no sign that Pariah will be rereleased.

They shouldn't bring back squats, just because they once made minis for them. In terms of the IG, everything is still there, except the Kasrkins, which honestly look even better than the tempestus, which are themselves cool.

You love the T-Rex. Its both a hero and a Villain in the first two movies. It is the "king" of dinosaurs. Its the best. You love your T-rex.
Then comes along the frakking Spinosaurus who kills the T-rex, and the movie says "LOVE THIS NOW! HE IS BETTER" But...in your heart, you love the T-rex, who shouldn't have lost to no stupid Spinosaurus. So you hate the movie. And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.

I love and use both the old and the new. There are things you can do in a mono-pose that you can’t do in a multi-part kit. But you don’t want to just have the same 5 guys make up your army. In the best of both worlds, we’d have both. But given the choice, I’ll take the plastic kit.

The new ones are great for versatility (I'm assuming, I've seen the sprues but not actually built any) and that's awesome. But those metal ones just have a really menacing look that the plastic ones in my mind (again just from photos) don't quite manage. I'd still take the plastic ones too, I do prefer working with plastic, but those metal ones were incredible. They're almost like perfect SM models in my eye.

I think thats what made the Necrons so terrifying was because of the Pariah's.

I would like to see the older grey knights come back out. I like the older models for some reason.

Agreed with the Necrons. The Pariahs were awesomely creepy. I really like the Lovecraftian creepy horror side to the Necrons.
