While the studio models for all the ships of the Excelsior line were the same, going through modifications to become the Enterprise B and then the Lakota (it was sold at auction with the Lakota markings still on it), I still would rather then do the model right if they're going to release it. I've been a huge fan of the Excelsior since the first time I saw her on screen, she's one of those ships, like the Defiant(at least for me), that a lot of people just can't help but see and go wow. Especially when you compare to the ship designs that came before her, when you saw the scope you knew she was something special.

Exactly my thoughts,

It's a shame that the WK excelsior model just sucks on so many levels...

I'm still on the hunt for some Micromachines Excelsiors in good shape. :/
