I was wondering if the special power klaw from the Waaagh Ghazghkull supplement was worth it in a competitive TAC list. It's benefits are:
-potential for a single ID attack (making an attack squig pretty mandatory), great for monster hunting
-can function as a normal PK (albeit at +15 points)
-a Warboss can use his normal weapons to fight low armor like IG troops
Is it worth its cost?
(I guess it could also be used in conjunction with another PK, but that is guaranteed to not be competitive)

For the guy who leaves it all on the field (because he doesn't pick up after the game).
Keep on rolling |

I'd say it's highly situational. The ID is awesome, meaning you could hypothetically destroy Riptides, Nid Zillas, Dreadknights, in just a single blow. But it's a sort of gamble. Plus, as you said, it's an extra 15 points for it.
I'd take it if I knew I'd be facing a LOT of MCs, just as a security measure.

Why would taking another powerklaw not be competitive? You're buying the big klaw for a specific purpose like any other piece of war gear, it has no impact on the purchase of a standard PK

Because if you take the other PK, you're basically paying 25 points for 1 extra attack.

Oh Zogg! I just realized you could take a power klaw IN ADDITION to Da Killa Klaw. Never occurred to me.
Yeah, so it would be nutz expensive and the ID attack cancels out the +1A for two CCWs, but now I want to build that just to have a dual- PK warboss. Something I think we've all dreamed of since starting our Ork armies. Don't deny it.
Thanks for the terrible idea Waaagh18!

You can still attach a combi-skorcha to a klaw! As the relic one ain't exchanging any weaponry iirc. It goes in addition.

The squig wouldn't give the ID an extra attack?
As the ID gives up all attacks for 1 ID attack. So 2x CCW or squig dont give any benefit...
However, a dual weilding PK warboss on a bike? nomnomnomnom! going no handed! expensive, but could be oh so hilarious!

Attack Squig? It doesn't give an extra attack anymore, just a single re-roll on To Wound rolls in combat. Useful if you've only got a single attack.

Two PK warboss...?
Is this every Ork players wet dream? I know it's mine
In all seriousness, this relic is very situational, and I'm not sure how it out competes the others like Da Lucky Stikk. (Its just too good)

DLS is in another book. So, there might be situations when you want to go for ghazzy detachment (rare occasion) and simply have no access to DLS.
