So, ever since reading over the ally system, I've wanted to take another chapter into my army allies.. The choice has ended between BA and DA, since I love chapters with strong visual appearances :-) now the only problem is that I have never really played any of the chapters for really really long time, so I don't know them anymore.. Therefore, I will let it be up to you guys :-) Let me know which chapter, and more importantly why, you think is the best :-)

I'd go with Imperial guard myself, the "angels" are space Marines too, so while they certinly have their own strongpoints, by and large you can likely cover 90% of what they can do with space wolves. IG however give you a very differnt force to play with

I don't want to take the standard super optimized ultra marine junk, since I don't go for power play, and IG looks too bland

I play DA so I'm slightly biased, but a good friend of mine played SW so I have a decent idea of how they play. DA are very versatile, so should be able to complement whatever list you want to make.

It also seems to me that one of the biggest strengths of the new SW dex is the thunderwolf cavalry and mobility, so I think the Ravenwing would be a good compliment to that.

That being said, DA also allow you to field just terminators, which are scoring, should you take Belial.

DA's and SW's aren't supposed to be particularly fond of each other or work well together. BA's would make far more sense.

@Madsoul - thx for the input :-) had indeed looked at the raven wing bikers :-)

@Vaktathi - yeah there is the little ongoing contest between them :-) but I read somewhere that they "settle" it once a year in a match between champions :-)
