Anyone else who shares my love of these 3 games? Dungeon of the Endless, Endless Legend and Endless Space. I can't get enough of it. The story, the lore, and the artwork is awesome. The games are so simply to grasp but so amazingly complex. I have all three games on Steam and they're the only games I want to get badges and profile backgrounds for.

I will forever remain humble because I know I could have less.

I only play endless space, but its pretty awesome. The ui is slick, and the manual mode battles are epic. I cant get enough of the game.

I have and love endless space. I am also particularly interested in 'endless legend'. I'm not sure if i want 'dungeon of the endless'. Endless space is very under-rated in my opinion. It's a fantastic game that deserves more attention. In fact it's a great substitute for 'galactic civilizations 3' until that game is fully made and no longer in early access/beta.

I was never really a fan of Endless Space. It wasn't that it was not designed well, or looked bad, it just lacked character.

I have Endless Space and Legend. I enjoy them both; primarily I enjoy the factions that Amplitude come up with. In Endless Space the Horatio hands down win the best idea for a sci fi faction, and in Endless Legend the Broken Lords and Cultists are awesome.

I like the whole exploit the land for empire growth aspect, it really hits you as a game with its concept based on the fundamentals of civilization. But its not Sid Meiers Civ. Its sci-fi fantasy, so its refreshing and intriguing.

I love endless space for the arms race.

I have to have fleets that cycle their weapons and defenses. For example usually missiles are a safe bet, but then all of a sudden the enemy change to heaps of missile defense and lots of beam attack, so I need to change to have lots of beam defense and kinetic offense etc. Or ill come across a new enemy later on and have to change a fleet into a new combination to combat the new enemy.

It means you can never get comfortable with your military. You always need to be ready to change up your fleets to match the new enemies or stay ahead of them.

Being generalized isnt a very viable tactic in my experience.

Endless Space looks beautiful and the Egg Head thats self obsessed with his own beauty and art is just awesome.

I use all three weapons and all three defenses, fighters and bombers for space battle, for long range, i play the block card, and for medium and short range, i play repairs.
For my siege fleet, it uses either cruisers or dreadnoughts once i have them available, 1 fighter, 1 bomber, and 2 troops. Once i go into galaxy conquering mode, i can usually bring their siege value up to 200k with only several ships. I build my fleets quality over quantity, and make sure i have the infrastructure setup to support my fleets losses. Gotta pop out a ship replacement immediately after the turn that the other ship blows up. I usually lose one or two ships every battle and they're usually the small ones.

I bought Endless Space and Legend in the most recent Steam sale, and like 90% of everything I buy during the sales, it languishes in my library unplayed. But in the time between of Atilla and Gav3 are released, I may have to try these out.

My method means I suffer no casualties as long as my ships designs are up to date. The enemy 99% of the time focuses on an aspect of warfare. But when I come up to an enemy that my ships arent designed to fight casualties are heavy. So its a trade off.

Why do either? Just get an all round defence and pack missiles, I won with three destroyer class warships against four craver predator class warships who had fighters and alot of defence. I guess it all depends on the battle actions you play

I once used sherydyn against 5 cravers, 1 amoeba and one sophon ai to see how the cravers would react. Lol

I used to just use missiles as well. But as I started playing the game longer and turning up the difficulty the enemy start changing designs more often.

Nothing is worse than coming up to an enemy fleet with huge missile defense and ripping your fleet to shreds.

Later on I decided to make fleets with balanced defence but with different guns, so I would have a dreadnaught with kinetic spam, two cruisers with beam spam, and then destroyers with missile spam.
