Models armed with Powers of the C’tan can use them as a ranged weapon in the Shooting phase of their own turn. They cannot use them to fire Overwatch. Each time a model uses Powers of the C’tan, choose a target as normal then roll one D6 and consult the following table to determine which power is used.

I agree the wargear does imply "more than one" in the entry, but if this single wargear is consistently referred to in the plural, due to the nature of its flavoring, than it's pretty clear that it's just a single piece of wargear with random effects. I would love to shoot it twice. But I think this needs an Faq asap.

One thing I don't get. Praetoran's nightscythe DT vs the Doomsday Cannon. Why is it that people think the BRB trumps for Jump packs and DTs ruling, but than doesn't trump for Relentless ruling for the Cannon? Seems very inconsistent. Either one book trumps or the other. You can't have it both ways....

The Night Scythe never specifically says that it can carry Jump Infantry, therefore it is not specific enough to override that restriction. The Doomsday Cannon's wording is more specific and would override Relentless, however as has been noted when fired on High Power the Doomsday Cannon is a Primary Weapon which is not affected by Relentless in any case.

And again, you use them as a ranged weapon is not make the powers singular. If you use Antimatter Meteor do you use it as a bolter? Do you use it as a shuriken cannon? Do you use it as a pulse rifle? No. You don't use it as any specific type of weapon, you just use it "... as a ranged weapon..." without specifics to what kind of ranged weapon. You do the same thing with each and every other Powers of the C'tan. You use each of them as a ranged weapon. It does not make the Powers of the C'tan one power.

Except you are not using Antimatter Meteor as a weapon. You are using the powers of C'tan. The collective group is being used as a weapon.

The People stating that a Transcendent C'Tan can fire the Powers of the C'Tan twice; what's your feeling on the Tesseract Vault C'Tan?
