Will this tournament conflict with Onslaught? And I'm assuming the same format.

It doesn't sound like it Nyghoma since Onslaught is Sat/Sun.

My problem is that I only have a Sat/Sun pass to Templecon and I wasn't planning on buying another day's worth of pass and such. Tree, is there a buy-in for this? Also do we need a Friday pass for Templecon to participate?

I am looking forward to this again, hopefully we can have another "big finish" like last year.

Maybe, I guess it depends on the turn out. It can potentially run for 2 days if all Onslaught attendees double dip.

Not involved but have played in the past. It won't conflict with Onslaught, as it is a friday only event and only 3 rounds (regardless of players). You will need a Friday badge to play though, as that is part of the Templecon rules.

Anymore info on what's restricted for this tournament? Double CADs, multiple LoWs, etc..

Or do we follow the Onslaught guidelines?

I've never played in the Charity event, but have watched it a couple of years. Pretty much anything goes if you're willing to throw in $$$ to the charity; IIRC buy rerolls for $20, $30 to drop APOC blast template on your friends' tables, etc.- pure fun & mayhem for a good cause.

Oh yeah he was serious I won it 2 years ago, the final game was basically apocalypse, re-rolls for a dollar, bystanders calling down orbital strikes on the table, superheavies up for auction, paying off judges to "cheat". Generally speaking the highest bidder wins. That said we won at the height of broken early 6E daemos with flamer/screamer spam without spending all that much (just conviced people walkiing by we were horribly outclassed when really all our stuff was in reserve.)

Tournament was a blast this year! I'm not sure what the total amount raised was, but I think it was well over $1,000 dollars. Had some good games, got an epic rematch vs "The Greater Booze" and made acquaintances with some people from other gamer groups.
