I have a SAG bike mek, and I must admit it is so funny dropping pie plates off the bike Stick him with a unit of the bikers or potentially the koptas and you've got a nasty unit that will eat whatever your shooting. 12 TL bikes shooting plus a BM with SAG. i'd give him an ammo runt or 2 just to ensure on a roll you really want you got a second chance You can also give him the gitfinda, as hes a bike, relentless and therefore stationary hes BS3; Tescos, every little helps.

I like the stormboyz in there, its a nice element thats still fast but not a bike!

nice looking list, wouldn't really do much to it. Except, id take an ammo runt as mentioned, potentially the gitfinda. maybe a grot orderly, the occasional re-roll of FNP can be a great benefit if you have points spare (you dont particularly, but you can always drop 1 bike somewhere.)

Made some point errors, and I can only afford 3 squads. Gave the Painboy a Grot, added a little to the tank bustas, and Stormboyz.

what ya add to the tankbusta's? nothing other than more tankbustas I hope? the hammers ain't worth it imo.

They're just as is, with a Boss pole Nob should their trukk explode.


Also, I feel that the small squad of stormboyz might be a little to fragile to be of worth.

I'm thinking of replacing them. Any suggestions? No Heavy Weapons per my warboss' custom rule.

skorcha buggies as far as I am aware are not as widely liked as rokkit buggies. You already have a huge amount of S5 firepower that will mulch light infantry, I doubt scorchas would be of much benefit. I do think however rokkit buggies or koptas would be an excellent choice. Koptas are fantastic at objective grabbing, but you already have a load of bikes anyway

I think koptas would synergise well, as its yet another T5 model to add to your pile of T5 models. Your really saturating their ability to deal with you. I haven't ever played a full bike list, so perhaps someone else can weight in?

I'd try to max out one bike squad and stick your warlord + painboss in there. Other squads can go smaller for the flanks.

SAG bikermek could stick with rokkit koptas as unlike bikers that do want to turboboost asap to either get closer and claim 3+ jink, he wants to do the actual shooting which he can't with jink. While being in a squad of koptas, he can provide a much needed ld boost being a character and holding a bosspole, smacking nearby kopta drivers at da 'ead when needed. At the same time, they get a scout move / outflank and don't mind shooting instead of flat-outing. Furthermore, you'll actually have a chance to shoot with your mek as the opponent will have a ton of jinking bikers up his face and will likely ignore a SAG mek + kopta squad holding a bit back. + s8 ap3 won't go to waste if you choose to shoot at something tougher like a vehicle with your SAG.

I did just that, stick with koptas, scout towards a flank using the koptas as a wound pool while my SAG laid down da hurt. Necron player had a 'disco inferno' I think they call it? basically a whole load of characters and crypteks that can DS around the board. Turn 2 he DS'd midfield and did some shooting which was reasonable. I dropped a nice direct hit, STR8 pie plate doubling out his crypteks and leaving a 10 man deathstar as a 2 man deathstar Got room id take a SAG bikemek for my games any day

One of the reasons to take an ammo runt or two. The times you get this s8 when needed are rare. You'd better not miss with it. The second reason to take an ammo runt for a biker mek is modelling.

Alright, I bumped a bike squad up to 15, and gave the nob's boss pole to the Pain Boy.

The Deffkoptas are now 4, instead of 3.

Gave the Big Mek an ammo runt, Boss Pole, Cybork Body, and a Powerklaw should he find himself in melee.

For the Big Mek model, I was thinking of doing what this one guy did.

Skaven wheel, with Mek Boy in the middle.

Best watch out for Drop Pod Heavy Flamers, and Hellhounds I'm thinking.

As promised Was in a rush this morn so a little late.
Its 95% done i'd say, I literally drew blank after blank about how to paint the fire prism. Any ideas? I originally did it yellow, but it cant be rusted because its wraithbone, but I literally didnt know if wraithbone colour would suit?

A few construction notes;
It is on a huge base primarily to hide the 5-7 pennies I had to put on the base in order to balance out the weight of the metal fire prism. Infact there may even be more than 7 I also had to tilt it sightly which in the end worked pretty well
Phone camera doesn't do it too much justice, but painting was never my fav part Enjoy! I certainly did

i might consider upgrading your truck for the tnak bustas to a battlewagon and getting rid of the deffkoptas in return? you might find the tank bustas dont survive for that long.

Thanks for all the advice, AND pictures. I think I'll start making purchases for this list soon.
