This is my go at a competitive list for the new Necron codex. Basic idea is to have a large, resilient firebase of warriors for the anvil and fast mobile units for the hammer.

Decurion Detachment

Core
Reclamation Legions
1x Overlord w/ Res. Orb and Solar Staff - 120
5x Immortals - 85
3x Tomb Blades w/ Nebuloscope - 60
3x Tomb Blades w/ Nebuloscope - 60
3x Tomb Blades w/ Nebuloscope - 60
20x Necron Warriors - 260
10x Necron Warriors w/ Ghost Ark - 235
10x Necron Warriors w/ Ghost Ark - 235

Auxiliary
Canoptek Harvest
1x Canoptek Spyder w/ Fabricator Claw Array - 55
3x Canoptek Scarabs - 60
6x Canoptek Wraiths w/ Whip Coils - 258
Deathmarks
10x Deathmarks - 180
Deathmarks
10x Deathmarks - 180

Total: 1848

The overlord will join the 20man blob, using his staff and res orb when needed to repel an alpha strike or any threatening attack. The staff, for example, could be used to prevent Thunderfire Cannons from targeting the unit until my Deathmarks can take it out. In the event that the blob does lose models, the 2 Ghost Arks can replenish the ranks. The blob, 2 ghost arks and their 2 units will control objectives and provide area denial for the center of the board.

The 6 Wraiths, 9 Tomb Blades and 3-5 Scarab Swarms will attack threats where needed. The Spyder will use it's shooting phases to run in order to keep the Wraiths in range as long as possible. The Deathmarks will do their job in killing the biggest threats as quickly as possible. They're also a great counter-alpha strike unit, preventing drop pod armies from getting easy kills on the ghost arks or the spyder.

What do you think? Are Tomb Blades good enough now to use them like I plan to use them? Should my hammer include different units? Is the anvil strong enough to withstand whatever will be thrown at it?

Just to clarify the command benefits.
The entire army gets +1 to RP.
Everything in Reclamation Legions and Canoptek Harvest get Move Through Cover and Relentless.
The Warlord provides rerolls to RP rolls of 1 if within 12".

I think you should if you are going to have that many Warriors, just take 10 more Warriors in a Ghost Ark and not bother with the 20 man Warrior squad.

It's actually more shots at 24 inches, 30 total, and the same number at 12 but it's cheaper. Then just put your Overlord in with the Immortals.

Why does your Spyder have a Fabricator Claw Array, he needs to keep up with the Wraiths in order to give them Renimation Protocols.

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated.

I had 7 spare points so I just threw the Fabricator Claw Array on there to fill 5 points.

I didn't realize the Ghost Ark's weapons had changed to salvo 10. That's a pretty good boost in firepower from prior edition. I think I'll do what you say and swap the 20man for a 10man in the Ghost Ark.

This leaves 25 points available (30 if I remove the Fabricator Claw). I could upgrade the Overlord to a CCB? Would that be better for him or should I just stick him with the Immortals?

The other list I came up with is this:

Decurion Detachment

Core
Reclamation Legions
1x CCB w/ Warscythe, Phase Shifter, Phylactery - 195
5x Immortals w/ Night Scythe - 215
5x Immortals w/ Night Scythe - 215
6x Immortals w/ Night Scythe - 232
6x Tomb Blades w/ Nebuloscope, Particle Beamer, Shield Vanes - 144
10x Necron Warriors w/ Ghost Ark - 235
10x Necron Warriors w/ Ghost Ark - 235
10x Necron Warriors w/ Ghost Ark - 235

Auxiliary
Deathmarks
8x Deathmarks - 144

Total: 1850

It's missing the Wraiths but it's a must more coherent list I think.

I think just keeping the first list but with a CCB and instead of a 20 man a 10 man in a ghost ark will be good. It's a lot of Gauss!!
