I would love to pre-order this, especially considering the Grey Panzers deal. But 30 pounds shipping to US is unconscionable!

Well tell Royal Mail that.
Not alot PSC can do about GB postal rates sadly...
But dont forget you are getting a free 251 and a free PDF rulebook, so that may offset the postage cost for some. But again, not much a business can do about mail rates and it will always hit international orders on big books.
War Store in the USA will have them in stock after release.

Good luck with it.
One quick note about the displayed historical information on the last sample page. My own admittedly limited research on the H35 has indicated that the upgrades were actually two different sets. There was the upgrade to the engine, which was based on a 1937 proto-type. Starting in 1939, all new production was built using the new engine, and the rear hull redesign needed to accomodate the engine. Then in 1940, another upgrade program was introduced that applied to both new production and existing models. The new gun was a part of that program. Unfortunately, the latter upgrade program was started so late that the vast majority of Hotchkiss tanks still had the old "popgun" (as I tend to refer to it) that it shared with the R35.
So when the Germans attacked in 1940, you had -
Old hull H35s with the pop-gun
Old hull H35s retro-fitted with the new gun (though not very many)
New hull H35s with the pop-gun
New hull H35s retro-fitted with the new gun (again, not very many)
New hull H35s built with the new gun (still not very many; though I would imagine that most of the Hotchkiss tanks that existed at the start of the war were out of action for one reason or another by the end of Dunkirk, meaning that the ones in action afterwards were probably majority new production models of this type).
What exactly the term "H39" describes is one of those messy debates, and I don't particularly want to get into it. So far as I can tell, H35 remained the official designation of the tank even when referring to those versions that had both the new engine and the new gun.

Yes the Hotchkiss is a complicated mess of variations.
We simplified it to a couple of variants for ease of reference and avoid having lots of the same vehicle stat under the same name.

Don't make us start throwing crates of tea in harbors again! Although who could afford to at those rates? It's effectively a shipping embargo.

USPS charged me £90 on three books coming the other way, so swings and roundabouts and all that.
Was going to wait for Salute for this one but those comp prizes are very tempting!

Not the tea again Manchu!
Actually even our rates in Ireland have gone up to USA too. Getting quite pricey and I do lots of trades with mates in the US for Oldhammer stuff.

Well, in my vain quest to find a US shop offering Blitzkrieg for pre-order I managed to find very good prices for Barbarossa and Fall of the Reich! Those will tide me over until Blitzkrieg makes it over here.

Fall of the Reich is my favourite of the late war books. Really good fun.
