Subject: How to Run CSM Nurgle/Death Guard (7th Edition)

Hey everyone,
First time poster. I'll cut right to the chase.
I've been building a Nurgle army for the past two months. It's roughly 4500 points. I'm trying to reach a healthy 7000 by the end of this year.
With that being said, I have been primarily playing against Dark Eldar, Blood Angels, Dark Angels and Tau. I'm new to this game in general, but I've learned quick and I'm completely hooked.
Right now I can select and field the following:
HQ
Typhus
Sorcerer
Nurgle Daemon Prince
Nurgle Lord w/ Steed
Nurgle Lord w/ Terminator Armor
Troops
30x Cultists
35x Plague Marines
Elites
14x Chaos Terminators
8x Khorne Berserkers
Heavy Support
8x Havocs
5x Obliterators
Vehicles
2x Defilers
4x Helbrutes
1x Vindicator
3x Rhinos
1x Chaos Land Raider
I plan on picking up at least two more Obliterators, and 30 more cultists to round off my infantry. As for fast attack/flyers, probably four Blight Drones and about six Chaos Spawn. As for Lords of War, I can't decide between a Great Unclean One, a Chaos Fellblade, a Plaguereaper, or a Warhound Titan. Any advice on this?
If anyone has any recommended tactics playing Nurgle/Death Guard, I am all ears to your wisdom.
Thanks so much for your time, everyone. My apologies if I've posted in the wrong place.
Additionally, if anyone wants pics of my army, let me know and I can post some.

Plague reaper looks epic but isn't particularly good. Same goes for the large GUO.
So fellblade or warhound. A slightly smaller more manageable lord of war is the Typhon, which is excellent for its points.
Tactics are fairly simple. Plague marines in rhinos are good at taking and holding objectives, everything else runs interference

I shall follow this thread closely! (Returning player after a 6 year hiatus, so I'm lost and confused with new rules and editions)
Sorry I can't contribute towards solutions here, but wanted you to know at least one other community member has similar questions that you are helping answer. Thanks!

Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
Novamarines, an infantry-heavy chapter, dreads only. 2Kpts
188th Levanine Guard, conscripted gangers (Urban-camo Catachan models) 2.5K
Skargrim's Waaagh, Infantry heavy horde, just kans and dreads. 3K |

Awesome. Thanks a lot, brother. I'll pick up both sometime in the next few months and start painting. I'll look into the Typhon tank as well.
And is a Great Unclean One not even worth proxying as Scabeiathrax the Bloated?
Anyone else have any suggestions?

I charge forward! Daemon Princes, Maulerfiends, Rhinos, Jump Troops and Nurgle Bikers...
If the DP gets Iron Arm, he'll win entire games alone (killing 35+ Orks and 2 HQs in 2 turns, exterminating antire regiments of Necrons...). I never get tired of him now.
Plus, so many things in the codex mesh well with Nurgle Fluff (IWND and daemonic possession on daemon engines, Black Mace's special AoE power...). I personally like that a lot.
Another thing that I find works well is double flamer Plague Marine squads (with warpsmiths with the BBoS if I have the points). They can tie big tarpits away from my Daemon Princes or Bikers, and can murder them in shooting and overwatch.
Anyway, I'll be following this thread closely too.
I'd love to get tips on using the IA:13 Nurgle units. Are they any good? I love the look of Blight Drones.
