I am playing against a Tau friend who I know does not have any fliers, so this list has purposefully excluded anti air.

So the basic idea is to run the warriors in front with the d.Lord and the Cryptek following up. Use the solar staff to avoid his riptides alpha, and move up towards the middle of the board. Abusing the BS5 shots, plus the preferred enemy, I imagine that the shooting of this block of warriors will be absolutely rage inducing.

The monolith will move up as fast as possible, trying to draw fire away from the warriors. Once it gets within charge distance, I will bring the praetorians through and try to tie up his gun line in melee (Tau gun lines have a hell of a time vs av14).

I think I will have sufficient troops to grab the 2 or 3 objectives that will be left on the board. My main focus is to deal as much damage as possible, and bring the slowly push you off the board style I used to love Necrons for.

I haven't read the new codex yet, but the only thing I can really say is to split the Warriors into two groups of ten to meet the requirement rules.

3,500 (and building) ASM
3,000 Blood Angels
1500 Eldar (abandoned)

AoS - Beastclaw Raiders, Ironjawz, Night Goblins, and Ogors - Destruction remains unvanquished!

AFAIK you can't charge when you come through the monolith gate...

Correct. It counts as disembarking from a transport.
