There are the old exo-squad/robotech toys that are about a foot tall that you can pick up (last I checked which was admittedly a while ago) on ebay for $20-30 used/broken/need repair. If you're using it for battletech and not a toy collection that would need a pristine box, that should work if you want the original "unseen" mechs.

Armorcast used to make a madcat in 28mm scale.

With a bit of searching I found this:

They're about 7" tall (closer to 1/72 scale IIRC)

Yeah, looking for "Unseen" models.
I had a "Griffin" model as a kid, fully articulated.

Let's see:
List for Unseen is here:
http://brianscache.com/unseen/
Good list here too of the models when I was a kid:

Another helpful list:

Best I can do is look for 1/72 scale 1/100 is a little easier to find stuff...

Not the ones I'm talking about, namely the zentraedi unseen that fit a gi joe sized pilot into the cockpit. You can see both sizes in the pic below.

The OP wanted something titan sized so I mentioned the larger ones.

If you want Mechs in scale with with the Armorcast 28mm scale model kits, here is the Mech info from the old Armorcast website: http://timdp.members.sonic.net/battletech/

Pics: http://timdp.members.sonic.net/battletech/GamingBattleMech.html

http://timdp.members.sonic.net/battletech/CoolMechs.html

Here are the Robotech Defenders / Macross kits that fit with the Armorcast Mad Cat, Vulture and Atlas resin kits scalewise:

Valkyrie action figures (vinyl) are perfectly sized for Wasps and Stingers.

The Bandai and Arii 1/72 scale plastic model kits, which are a little larger than the vinyl toys, will work for Valkyries and with additonal armor could probably be used as Phoenix Hawks. They also come in transformable versions for the LAM variants.

1/72 scale Armorered Valkyries can probably be used as Crusaders with some modification. I have one to play with but have not had time to work on it.

Takara Dougram and Revell Robotech Defenders Kits These kits were orignally released by Takara as part of their Dougram line. Most of them were later released by Revell in the US ad Robotech Defender kits. Interestingly enough the Takara and Revell kit engineering and mold designs are completely different, with the Revell kits being slightly smaller, but not enough to worry about.

Robotech 1/48 Commando is just the right size for Goliath

Robotech 1/48 Zoltek is perfect for Shadow Hawk

Robotech 1/48 Gartan is a good size for Thunderbolt

Robotech 1/48 Thoren is perfect for Griffin
(This kit is listed as 1/72 scale on the box, but is actually 1/48: 7+" tall)

Robotech 1/48 Talos is too large for Wolverine, but the head could perhaps be mounted on a Griffen body to make a Wolverine.

Robotech 1/48 Condar does not conform to any BattleTech Mechs

Macross 1/72 Glaug Commander's Pod is a perfect size for Marauder
(The more common 1/100 scale kit is too small.)

The ARII 1/72 Defender and Tomahawk (Warhammer, Rifleman) are a bit too small.

Takara Crusher Joe 1/48 Scale Galleon kits a perfect for Galleons.

BattleTech / Macross / Robotech Defender cross reference chart:
BattleTech Macross Robotech Defender
Shadow Hawk Dougram Jagd Zoltek
Griffin Soltic Roundfacer Thoren
Wolverine Blockhead Talos
Thunderbolt Ironfoot Gartan
Battlemaster Bigfoot Ziyon (1/72 scale kit-too small)
Goliath Crab Gunner or Commando Tequila Gunner
Marauder Glaug Commander's Pod

Many of these kits can be found occasionally on ebay (keep watching EVERY week). This is pretty much the only way you can get any of the unseen Mechs in this scale, so get them while (and where) you can.

The Robotech defenders models do come up on EBAY surprisingly often. Most of them other than the T-Bolt are usually sold in the 30-50 range.

The Thoren is the Griffon as Tim said, I picked one up a couple months ago for $30.

It can be seen here about to step on some rather unlucky Necrons.

Max Factory is producing new kits for the Dougram designs in Japan right now. The 55 trio is out and cost around 35$ in Japanese stores for a really high quality, poseable kit.

I've been doing large scale mech games at a local convention for a couple of years now. I use the Mech Attack rules and mix it up the scales a bit (ranging from 20-28mm aprox) depending on what I'm able to find but it works well and, is alot of fun. Here's one of our convention games:
http://chicagoskirmish.blogspot.com/2014/05/mech-attack-battle-report-from-little.html

More germane to your question, here's two blog posts I've done showing many of the various models (Robotech toys, Macross models, Battletech toys, Mechwarrior die-cast Robogear, etc..) measure up against each other and 28mm figs.

http://chicagoskirmish.blogspot.com/2013/04/the-mechs-of-mech-attack.html

If you're looking for Warhound-Titan size, you probably want to look at the Battletech toys. They may take some modification, but the size is nice and big.

Also, I have a few for sale. Much of what's in the pics I'm keeping and a few have been sold, but I know I've got some available. Shoot me a PM if you're interested and I'll see what I've still got.

FCY is producing again.

1:60 scale Atlas, MWO style.

He's also done a Timberwolf MkII, Fafnir, Loki, and others. They're not cheap, but I have found the quality to be worth it.
