This a different kind of list than what has been prevailing with the release of the new dex(with the exception of the D.cult). No Decurion, no wraiths, no characters.

I think the new death ray has been grossly overlooked, 42" range after movement str10 ap1 blast/lance on a flyer. Added to a D.Cult and some pesky Anni-barges... well

I really don't know how people think the new death ray is bad. If I could be bothered using the Decurion detachment I'd be using deathbringer flight in every list.

Also, I didn't realise one could take pieces of the Decurion detachment without taking the Reclemation Legion, that's interesting indeed.

Didn't say the opinion was bad, just over looked in all the other hype of the release.

Yes, its just a normal formation. You could run it with Tau!

If he is there for "choppy goodness" then give him a warsythe and probably a phase shifter for cc. Could also get phalactery off added durability

TBH I started off with this list with a regular lord and ended up with 60points left over. So he became a Dlord to hang out with the other one. Plus I have two painted Dlords so it works out. Changing him to a Dlord was literally an after thought.

I have some ideas for a more choppy list. This lists focus is as titled.

I like your list a lot now but I think if your taking a D-Lord you should buff him up a bit and go with a squad of Flayed Ones for extra goodness.

Agreed, that's a great combo.

It's even better because you'd have two D- Lords.

Overall I love the concept. It is a shame the D lords arent tooled up though. Pretty difficult to find the pts but I think the return outweighs the investment here.

One option I see is to lose 1 anni barge and use those pts to trick out the cults D lord and then change the second for a CCB also tooled up. This would keep your av13 count the same. Otherwise a second lord is always welcome. They are basically better smash*uckers plus the ap2 armourbane should come in pretty handy.
