I notice on the Dredmob list it states that a Looted-Wagon may be selected as a dedicated transport for a unit of 12 or less Lootas.
Assuming these rules are up to date, how well would a Looted Wagon work as a transport for Lootas ?

If it's taking up one of three valuable Heavy slots, then no, coz it's not tough enough.
But in an Unbound list, or other formation where you can take as many as you like, I can see them being a lot of fun and causing a lot of damage.

Problem is, the looted wagon rules in the dred mob is(was) referring to the looted wagon entry from IA:8, which means its not quie the same pricing and still has a boomgun etc....
Anyone care to weigh in? As the dred mob is an update how would you feel using the entry for the looted wagon from the WD? IE the current looted wagon?

I dont think the looted wagon is bad, I just dont think its a good transport choice, as once you equip it up (say with loads of rokkits) and load a unit into it (tankbustas) then you've made a very prime target amongst your trukks. I think potentially if your transporting troops, but then again it doesn't have the fast rule like a trukk. I think if you spammed them with stacked weapons they could be effective.

Hid always try and use the most updated rules, which in this case would be the Looted Wagon from WD.

Speaking of the Looted Wagon if you roll a 1 on "Dont Press Dat" and there is a unit in-front of you, do you Flat Out and tank shock it and come to a stop (even if its a friendly model like a Grot Tank or warbikers or something ) or keep going the full distance ?

No, you can't Flat Out and Tank Shock in the same turn (see Flat Out rule).
You're not required to move forward, you simply move Flat Out. Distance and direction is up to you.

Personally I'd have no problem in a friendly to try them out.
Using them regularly I think you should try and make them more "Big Trakk"-like.
A Trukk with Battlewagon tracks at the back and a few armour plates would work well and not cost much.
I like this idea, now to find a load of spare battlewagon tracks form somewhere.....

Straight swap with the Trukk?
Take the four rear wheels of the Trukk and make an 8-wheeled Wagon. Then stick the Tracks on the Trukk.

Do you think a GT would allow that as a big trakk? It seems a bit short lengthwise... Maybe if you didn't have the wreckin ball and boarding planks, and instead had more armor it would look a bit more like one... It still looks awesome, just wondering if I can convert one like that and use

I think with some more armour plates to justify the AV12 it should work.
Maybe put something behind the Tracks to push them out a bit, or extend the back a little to make it look bigger.
