Deffkopta, you say? And Chosen are easy to make.
Seriously? You wouldn't rather a nice multipart plastic kit with options for each of them? That Deffkopta was around before I got into the hobby btw which is like 10 years ago, it hardly counts as a replacement kit for the plastic ones from AoBR.

Sanctuary 101 would be an excellent starter set.
2 squads of Sisters and a vehicle vs 3 squads of Necrons, a couple of Tomb Blades and a Lord. Oh, and Scarabs.

To all those who even mention Grey knights in a starter. really think about it. Its a starter do you really want a bunch of new players learning from early on how to walk around complaining "Matt ward made the grey knights his codex was the best and not over powered at all" even tho they never saw how freaking broken it was. Its like starting a new generation of Wardy love. Please for the love of god no.
I think the best starter would be any race vs themselves at least then i can justify buying a starter and having a formidable army straight away... Battle force you say? oh wait its GW's way of clearing out some models they havent been able to sell since 5th

They already do that though, with the various Battle Force Mega Force Ultra Force Super Force boxed sets that pretty much every faction but Orks and Chaos has.

Why would people just coming into the game care about what their army was like before they even played? They're not going to suddenly love the Mat Ward codex just because they're playing GK.
