Weren't those in Phantom Menace? Still pretty cool.

Prometheus is really awesome, and I hope PP takes note that big heavy robots can have big strong looking legs! (Although those are some dainty ankles!

Aren't those supposed to be powered armors, not robots?

Any clue on whether they're going full metal with them, or will they be resin/metal hybrids?

They might be powered armor, but if so the arms and legs do not contain any human parts. The pilots would need to be contained in the torso.

Looking at them, I am guessing there is more of a Dreadnought, walking life support system going on.

Wow!

Very nice stuff there - I'm not sure they've put out a really bad sculpt for Dark Age since the re-design phase kicked in a few years back...

These guys (plus his soldiers and sidekick commander) look amazing. I'm so glad Dark Age is getting such wonderful new stuff out.

Their rules also look quite fun.

There's a lot more Photos that haven't been posted here but are on their facebook page for new models: Looks like pretty much every crappy Forsaken model (early 2000s sculpts!) are getting completely redone to modern standards.

Indeed!

So much awesome...

Last week, we announced the pre-release board games CMON will have on offer at our Booth #1317 and #1417 (directly across from each other) during Gen Con Indy 2015. The new Dark Age: Forsaken book and units were mentioned, but there were too many to detail in that post. So we wanted to dive a little deeper in to what Dark Age goodies we’ll have on offer at the con and the online store.

The new Dark Age: Forsaken book will, as the title suggests, deal with all things Forsaken. Many of the faction’s rules and models are getting upgrades and modifications to offer a more streamlined experience to both loyal and new players. The Dark Age: Forsaken Card Pack for 2015 will be releasing alongside the book.

I guess we know what they've been up to recently!

Vrocks, eh? I guess I know what Tamburlaine will be getting.

Death knights look pretty bad ass. Might have to get some. And an AJAX.

The larger models should be resin.

I'm not going to guarantee it, but they look to be about the size that CMoN typically releases them in resin.

Wow, yes indeed! Those Flense look really cool! I still have an original Strike which is super tiny and fiddly... I hope the new ones are easier to put together (they still look amazing!) I want those Shades too.

Does anyone know if Judah is supposed to be really big? I have the first version (called Contradiction I think) and he is like ogre sized. Not sure why.

Ugh, my wallet! Why do they have to release so much good stuff at once?

Forgot to ask- has there been a new rulebook update since last year's Gencon? Don't know if I need to bring it to upgrade or not.

The mounted Saint Mary is just wonderful. Much better than the other mounts.

True. But the alternative is they release it more gradually. Then what good will all your money be, just laying around in a bank or invested into your 401 or some other high-yield high-risk venture?

I would agree the larger ones should be resin. I can vouch for Saint Mark (mounted) being resin at the very least, since it was at Origins. There are a couple there I plan on getting at GenCon, since they weren't out yet during Origins.

The 2013 Core Rulebook is still valid.

Some of the armies do have new tweaked card sets that are dated 2015.

It appears the Forsaken will have one releasing at GenCon.

That's what I thought. I don't follow Dark Age religiously, but I knew I haven't heard of a new Basic rulebook.

I'll at least be grabbing Saint Mary and the Forsaken book at Gencon.

Is there any indication of the Salt Nomads getting a starter box any time soon?

I may be wrong, but I doubt there'll be a Nomad starter. They share ALL units with General Outcasts, so you can use the outcast starter.

If you had to make one however, I'd imagine this:
3x Tribal Warrior - 150 pts
1x Caravan Keeper -100 pts
1x Oathkeeper - 75 pts
1x Hand of War - 100 pts

Total: 425

Add one Bounty Hunter or a Fixer and you've got a 500.

i was a big fan of many of the original sculpts, because it mixed Werner Klocke's (one of my favorites) sculpting with a post-apocalyptic style (which i really like), and Brom's art of course, but they have totally gone in a new, even cooler direction over the last few years...
when i bought my first Dark-Age mini over a decade ago, i never suspected that we would have awesome models like the mounted Saints, the Core, and the Kukulkani...
i love to see when something that seemed cool already, gets a facelift and looks even better...

i look forward to catching up on the new fiction...
this has the trifecta for me, great sculpting, great painting, and a great setting...

cheers

So I'm thinking I am going to need both Ajax and Prometheus as alternate TAG's for Infinity, the Scorpius and Centipedes because I like their style thematically, and the Ravage and Ravage Leader to replace Haqqislam Odalisque's because these fit my style a lot better, and aren't showing a ton of skin like the Nomad Reverend Moira's which I was thinking of using instead.

These are gorgeous miniatures. Really really well done. Excellent work!

All this Infinity talk's got me curious. Who's sculpting and painting these minis?

Nice. I might have more than one Dark Age models soon. How do they compare to Infinity sculpts? Okay, unfair quwstion given how Infinity fluctuates between scale and proportions, so: Would the Ravages fit next to the Reverend Healer as killer nuns?

Patrick Masson is doing a lot of work for CMoN these days. I don't know if he's responsible for all of them, though.

Big Child Creatives is doing most of the Dark Age studio work, I think.

GIve me some comparisons you want to see and I'll snap some photos.

Ravages look like they might be a bit hard to convert to Odalisques now I have seen their miniatures in a much sharper close-up, but I absolutely love the Sand Nomads. They are damn nice, and would very much fit in with Haqqislam stuff I reckon, especially as Khawarijs'.

Any chance you have some of the new Haqqislam stuff you might be able to put these miniatures up against for an idea of scale? Infinity has changed sizes, so seeing if these match closer to the look would be great. Any of the other newer sized Infinity humans would work as well I am thinking. Dark Age Human vs new scale Infinity Human would be a good comparison.
