That does seem to be one of Dark Age's biggest problems - staying 'in stock'.

It seems as if even the CMON shop can't keep many things in stock at times.

Of course Distribution and getting it into stores is another one, or so it seems...

The game is good, the miniatures are now stellar - this one is poised for a surge, I'd think.

Kind of similar to where INFINITY was a few years back - I hope!

I agree, in fact, some of the players in the Infinity Group I am a part of In Oklahoma City have bought into Dark Age.

We just now need to get the same enthusiasm that the Infinity player has for their community and game for Dark Age.

Is there a secret way to use the CMON store that isn't a huge mess? Really hard to get a sense of the ranges with that as the only resource.

Unfortunately the CMON web store interface isn't the best. Everything is kinda slow to load and trying to have multiple browser tabs usually crashes my connection and bars me from their shop for a few minutes.

Maybe one of the other online retailers linked in this thread would be better for perusing the Dark Age offerings?

rather than trying to get in via CMON direct things go more smoothly if you go in via the Dark Age site

http://dark-age.com/

and then go into the CMON store via the link on the above

Those feels. I found the Miniatures Games Central store linked earlier -

- helpful for seeing what's hypothetically available for the various factions. No idea about actually ordering from them.

So it's past business hours now and no new stuff up on the CMoN store. Do they work Sat/Sun? Doubt it'll be available this weekend otherwise.

I just Checked the store, and the New forsaken Models are there.

And since I forgot to pick up strikes at GenCon, well this is the time ;p

New models are there, but I'm not seeing the book - am I just missing it somehow?

I don't see it either; I do, however, see the Rum & Bones Resins

The Vrocks are on the way!

Didn't realize that some of the models would cost what they do; namely Coatlai, Scorpius, and Saint Mary on mount. Had to put those off until general release.

Aside from the book it appears that the Centipedes and Ravage leader & crew are also MIA.

No book = major bummer.

Also means I probably won't pull the trigger on purchasing anything right now and just wait for everything to hit general release...

so, we can expect those to be the regular retail prices for the figures then? Prices don't seem too bad, though I'm surprised the AJAX and the Prometheus are the same price. Hopefully they're suitably large.

And does anyone know why most of the CORE stuff has crystals growing on them?

I like the CORE fluff a lot.

They're robots that used a reverse engineered alien battery that generates huge power from decaying/dying life forms. So naturally, the AI after being abandoned (and sabotaged a bunch) goes insane and CRAVES FLESH.

Then when the CORE fights the Dragyri, it discovers that they use powerful crystals for their magic/tech. So it tries to incorporate that into it's better designs. The energy is unstable, and makes the machines MORE CRAZY.

That's why some CORE stuff has crystals. It's for the more advanced types newly built (as opposed to junk-bots).

Well, yes - I just don't know 'exactly' what is what, is all!

The Spiked facemask unit is probably a new Strike leader, or a former Strike that became a Bounty Hunter. I believe there is also a named Strike character, but I can recall at the moment.

The second appears to be some sort of Prevailer unit, but I'm not exactly sure what.

All conjecture on my part of course.

Wait, the second couldn't be the Saint Joan model could it?

Not Joan, but part of her cohort, I believe... Going off memory, I think it might be the Grey Lady?
