Wow ! Never would I have thought seeing a Dark Age thread on this forum ! I'm such a huge fan of this game. Saddly, it receives few attention in hobby stores and the hobby media...

I've always wanted to give Dark Age a shot, but I have never found anyone interested in jumping in with me. I personally think the setting is absolutely awesome and they have some fine sculpts, especially recently.

Any idea when the Gencon stuff is going to go up for sale? I really want to pick up one of the Forsaken Judah's for use.

Another Dark Age fan, but its almost impossible to actually get a hold of any of the stuff!

As a Dark Age novice, does anyone know if the Paladins are usable across Forsaken factions, or are they limited only to certain ones?

Still need to paint up my St. Mary stuff, but now I'm being tempted to start St. John too. Really liking all the mounted Saint models.

Unfortunately Alpharius all models released are for the St. John faction only. I'm quite partial to the Faithful myself, but I have enough for the pile of unpainted minis as it is.

It seems FRP won't be carrying Dark Age anymore. Everything is listed as limited and "going out of print," which seems to be their way of saying they won't be stocking it anymore. It's a shame as that means there's even fewer US sites carrying it. It seems Ebay will likely be my only route for getting any of it at decent prices, and even then, Ebay's selection is extremely limited. I'd like to get some of the Salt Nomads, but nobody ever has them.

That is a bit of a blow, as it seems that Miniature Games Central no longer stocks the line either...

Is the St. John on foot shown above the resculpt?
Doesn't look on the same sculpting or painting level as all the other releases...at all.

That Foot St.John isn't a modern resculpt unlike everything else, which is extremely high quality: It was a limited edition alternate-sculpt they were offering at cons a few years ago.

The new Saint John model IS a resculpt, he was just the first one done and was cast early in resin as a limited release for Gencon 2014. Now we're getting the regular metal release, along with the rest of his goodies.

Strange about Miniature Games Central... I'll give the owner a ring and see what's up. They had been very good about being up to date with releases, especially since they are geographically close to CMON and all.

You can snag Dark Age models at http://www.brush4hire.com/ right now (AND they have a killer sale going on right now), as well as http://monkeyswordgames.com/miniatures/dark-age. They're both quality companies, and if they don't have an item in stock just shoot them an e-mail and they can typically special order it for you (so long as CMON has some in the warehouse available).

Dark Age is going to try to make a big push in 2016, I believe. I haven't heard any confirmations, but I'd wager we'll see a 2-player starter set this year.

That Saint John resculpt certainly looks amateurish compared to their usual brilliant standard... I can't imagine many people will buy that one.

Doesn't seem to be painted as well as the other releases either.

I've heard similar rumblings - some pretty awesome rumors out there right now!

And I do hope CMON really does make 2016 the year of DARK AGE!

I'd be so glad to see a 2-person Starter and some more push from CMON this year. I've heard from conversations at various conventions that this IP was an investment for them, and they've been building up on it.

Plus, with more people around, I'd get in more games with my Outcasts and St. Isaac

I think we're all going to be quite happy with 2016 as far as DARK AGE goes!

Looks like a new set of scenarios and organized play rules for 2016... some fairly interesting changes, like a model sideboard that you slip in prior to game!
