Death knights and sin eaters looks fantastic.
Not just about Joan, looks a bit like a print that underplayed the detail or a Malifaux plastic.

Agreed. I was really interested in seeing her sculpt, and while there are pieces I like (the chain/flail/mace/whatever is one) overall it's a bit underwhelming. I was waiting to see how she turned out before deciding whether to jump in with St. Isaac or St. Joan... Looks like my decision may have been made.

Something looks off about that Joan sculpt. Either the anatomy of the pose don't appear natural.

I am super disappointed. Joan in any minis game has always been my go to as the stories always great (such as joan for infinity which looks amazing)

Waited since last gencon when they announced her as a leader for a new sub faction, and not only do we get death knights that were previously released many months ago, but static sin eaters and a joan that is not even close to her card picture of badassness.

I was expecting at least a inquisitor also and they grey lady. The released for DA have been horrible lately. Whoohoo for resculpts but not when you put out 3 models a month.

I love the game, but this will quickly make me sell it all and not look back if this is their new direction.

April New Releases!

http://cmon.com/dark-age-april-new-releases/

The Pale Saint’s forces continue to grow with April’s Dark Age new releases! Strengthen the might of your Saint Joan army by recruiting The Furies. Picked from the worst-of-the-worst of New Ashkelon’s women prisoners, The Furies act as the Saint’s punishment on all wicked souls. The more they kill in her name, the closer the Furies are to atonement. When not killing in her name, they act as Saint Joan’s bodyguards.

MSRP $19.99

The legend of the Grey Lady continues to this day in New Ashkelon. Once known as the fighter Miriam Crowdon, the Grey Lady wields the dangerous bloodsword that feeds on its victims. However, if its appetite is not sated, the nanobots in the host’s blood will turn against her. The Grey Lady only appears during times of great need, but when she does, those on the other side of her sword better watch out.

MSRP $12.99

Brought up from the ranks of the Sin-Eaters, the Inquisitors are Saint Joan’s form of the old Witch-Finders. In battle, they dress like their Saint, wearing jet-black armor, and fight with a modified flamethrower/sword. With a simple press of a button, an already terrible wound can quickly be modified with flame. The Inquisitors have no fear in battle, and the pain of their foes fuels them.

MSRP $12.99

April’s Dark Age releases can be found in the CoolMiniOrNot web store and at your FLGS.

What's the best place online (other than the CMON Shop) to order Dark Age again?

Dark Age minis are getting better and better looking as time goes on. I wish the game was more popular, maybe I can get some friends to try it.

The Grey Lady looks awesome. Much better than Joan anyway.

I'm sure it works for some people, but I'm really not liking the new style minis, for the most part. There are a few exceptions, but so many of them look gangly and awkward.

I prefer the old range.

Really?

The old range is what kept me from picking up the game!

The new range has me jumping in for probably 3 factions, if not a bit more!

Yeah I really like the more real-life proportions of these miniatures!

I would like to see more Kukulkani miniatures coming down the line. I really love their aesthetic!

I keep waiting for the Sister of Compassion resculpt. I love Steve Buddle's work, but look at the original art then look at that mini, and...

The new sculpts brought me back. I can mix them with my Confrontation, Anima Tactics and Malifaux stuff and it all works,

Iain.

Sister of Compassion and Medic resculpts are probably general release in May. They had both of them at Adepticon, anyway. They're absolutely stellar.

The timing on this is perfect, I finally got my local store to get a direct CMON account. Hopefully I can get a Dark Age group going now after 5 years of buying models. Now just need to find time to get them on the painting table.

My buddy likes the look of the Kuklani so I'm buying him a bow and ordering him to play ;p

Thanks for posting these, Alpharius. Criminally under-represented game IMO that deserves to build some hype.

I have never met anyone in Canada that has even played Dark Age, but I want to get into it more and more as I see more things about it. Beautiful minis, interesting lore and very straightforward and solid gameplay.

Thanks for posting those! I love playing Dark Age whenever I can, it's such a fun and violent game.

The activation system in the newest edition is so interesting, and leads to nail-biting turns. The new K3 stuff that's not yet out looks astounding.

The Kukulkani faction - Aztec Inspired Space Aliens, sorta!

I'm not 100% up on their fluff, but I think the true K3/heavy hitters all have blue skin too?

Well, here in the US, we can't exactly call them the KKK!

Dark Age is definitely the next game on my list, after I get through my backlog. If they keep these resculpts to the same high quality that they have so far, they'll run into the same "problem" Infinity has: too many cool factions!

Does anyone know anywhere to get the models from in the UK? Most places have a very limited range.
