I've got loads of other builds too, but these are the two I'm most interested in.

Well, I'm not sure what to tell you. I don't know anything about the Haakona, Taris, or romulan security officer. we can assume the Haakona will cost 30 but Taris who knows, as for Security Officers curently no such card or are you talking about Centurions?

I suggest the RIS VO as a caddy for Donatra and choose the free evade everytime to help keep her alive, it has 7 evade dice as well.

what type of environment do you expect at the OP fun o competitive?

The OP is semi competitive.

No Borg players.

A few really filthy builds.

What can it hurt the ship looks good, you'll have one good alpha strike.

If you use Valdore as Captain, it loses the 360 degree fire arc, but gains the tech slot and can equip Advanced Cloaking.

That's more expensive and you may lose the insane attack dice, but it becomes more reliable for damage dealing.

Another option for another time is, If your TO will allow resources in the events after they 'expire officially' go to ebay and grab a set of fleet captians. The INDY Dominion, which can be played on any faction, has 2 techslots +1 captian skill and entire fleet pays -1 for all techs then you can still have Taris with skill 6.

Fleet captains won't be retired until January 2016. So if you can find them for a reasonable price they are a worthy investment.

My biggest arguement to that would be: You don't see Wizkids banning, Yellow lantern battery, Phoenix Force, Infinity Gauntlet....these are the highest abused resources and most powerful in Heroclix you can't by them anymore and the battery is $100+ on ebay, so the casual and new gamer can't get any of them. So why is it so important to ban other resources?

There is nothing overly broken in any STAW resource (I'm not keen on officer exchange, but I don't think is OP) not like some of the stupid combos with Yellow Lantern Battery, just plain horrible.
