I was looking around on the web for unique 40k army ideas, and I've found one that I really like. Khurasan Miniatures makes these awesome Russian Revolution rodents that I would love to use as guardsmen in friendly games. I'm digging the models, and the prices make me like them even more. What do you guys think?

I had the same idea once, they would make awesome Guard! I came close to buying some but never ended up happening.

Especially for friendly games, I'd think they'd be a blast. Let's here it for a return to imperial beastmen!

I think that I'll start off with making a platoon for killteam games and see how it goes from there. Coming up with lore will be so much fun.

You could have them as an Abhuman regiment. Useful because of their population growth and used as line infantry.

Particularly useful and dangerous areas etc.

Being a Dark Angel, I cannot approve of the use of something as revolting as abhuman rat-men. I request that you cleanse this stain upon the glory of the Imperium, at once!

All seriousness aside, those are some pretty sweet models. I'd definitely play against them, although you might feel a bit of space-racism radiating from me.

How is the height in comparison to a GW guardsman? Are they shorter? Can they see over an ADL?

You bring up a good point, actually. I'm pretty sure that it says somewhere that they're only about 20mm tall, and I can't imagine that being as tall as a guardsman. This might be a problem.

Remember line of site works both ways.

That's true, but some enemies might get fussy about it.

I like the idea, as for height issues just call it a rebel grot army and call it a day...
