I mean fluff-wise it isn't as if the Imperium is the only faction with an interest in them seeing as Eldar need to collect soul stones, Orks need new junk for their tech etc. What do you dakkaites think?

You mean proxying in Eldar/Ork models or playing with a new rule set to cover their weapons and/or stats?

I could see Eldar standing in for the genestealers. Harlequins a/o howling banshees. No shooting to speak of, blenders of whirling death in CC, but put a few good bolter rounds into them and they disintegrate into a lingering cloud of gore.

Some choppa boyz could fill a similar role for orcs. Less with the CC skills, more of the endless horde. But close enough for play. And orcs and space hulks have a long history together, being a popular way to hitch a ride to the next scrap.

Isn't there a way for most armies to be represented within space hulk without changing rules? Kabalite warriors for example could use the splinter cannon and a blaster as the chain gun and that flamery thing respectively. Perhaps, add a custom rule for the poison?

Also I didn't think of subbing the Genestealers out but that is a great idea too.

I've never tried them, but rules for using Eldar and Imperial Guard were published in Citadel Journal.

Oh definitely a way to sub in other factions and fun idea to do so.
I just mean if you were to try and use something more exotic like Eldar D-cannons/scythes, Ork Tankbustas etc, you'd have to write custom rules and make sure they're balanced enough.

A google search found that Citadel Journal #5 had Eldar rules for Space Hulk from GW.

An ebay search turned up this!

Best of luck!

Yeah that'd be awesome, but I don't trust my hombrew chops enough for that. A buddy of mine has space hulk and I'm looking for more ways to use it, besides just Marines vs nids which would get dull after a while.
