Pretty new to this, started a few months ago. I was wondering if there were any competitive Tyranid Psycher builds.

So far:

x2 Flying Tyrants with twin linked Devourers
x6 Zoanthrope (1 being a neurothrope)
x1 Maleceptor

And thats all I got so far at 960 points.. Looking to make a 1500 point army.

Hmm...if I remember from my 5th edition codex, Tervigons, Broodlords, and Zoanthropes have psychic powers. Perhaps you should get some Tervigons or Broodlords?

Childred of Cryptis or a Broodlord with a unit of Genestealers each have a Psycher Mastery lvl1. Which is better and why?

If you use the way back machine I have posted several WC heavy lists called "Psycho-" something...for example "Psychoskyblight"

The basic "template" would be...

HQ: Winged Tyrant 240
HQ: Winged Tyrant 240

Elite: Zoey 50+
Elite: Zoey
Elite: Zoey

That is 10 Warp Charges, and 7 rolls on Powers of the Hive Mind!

Troops: Termagant Brood, x30 120
Troops: Tervigon, Thorax Hive 205

12 Warp charges, 8 rolls for powers, for about 955 points, plenty of room for some Big Bugs and the like. Toss in a Formation, and you have a playable army. But you lack Shrouding, unless you use Hyper Toxic Node.
