I just got myself the Tech Marine model (with servitors) because I think it's a cool mini regardless of how useful it is or isn't. As you know, this model is packing a servo harness.
My intention was to use it as an Iron Priest in my space wolves army but upon reviewing the iron priest rules, he has no option to take a full servo harness. Just the one arm for an Iron Priest.

Do you guys think it'd still be ok doing him as an Iron Priest even if he cannot actually use all the stuff on the mini?
I'll just paint him as a smurfs tech marine if I come to the conclusion he won't work as a SW.

No one will really care. Iron Priests come with a Thunderhammer and a Servo Arm, which is actually better than a Servo Harness. You still get Sx2 AP1 with a bonus attack, and can choose to use the Thunderhammer with a bonus attack against non vehicles.

If it bothers you, convert one of the servo arms into a Thunderhammer.

I'm gonna convert the axe on the standard model to a thunder hammer. Hadn't actually considered changing any of the arms but you got me thinking now...

Hang on now I'm confused. IP has 2 attacks... Does he get +1 for having a servo arm AND a Thunderhammer?
Or do I still need to swap his bolter to a pistol for that ?

thunderhammer is 2 handed and I believe a specialist weapon so it does not matter. I think you do gain an extra attack for the servo arm though.

Thunder Hammers are not two-handed. They are specialist, like Servo-arms.

Yeah, so you get his base number of attacks for the thunder hammer, and an extra one for the servo arm.

If you're already converting the axe into a hammer, I'd just convert the servo arms on the harness so that they have mechanical gubbinz on them instead of plasma guns and flamers.

Or just leave a couple of arms off!

whoops i was thinking that thunderhammers were 2 handed :-P but yeah no bonus attacks for the TH but you do get the +1 attack for hte servo arm

Almost right;

You get his base (2)
+1 hammer attack for having 2 specialist weapons (servo and hammer)
1 special attack from the servo-arm's special ability

So 3hammer and 1 arm.

Except Servo-arms no longer grant a bonus attack. They are basically just a Power Fist now.
