Hey everyone, is the wulfen stone worth it?

I have this close combat oriented grey hunter squad with a battle leader in it- the squad has flamers a storm shield on the pack leader, a banner and is in a drop pod. So my question is should I keep my warlord killy and more survivable, by adding a storm shield and the black death. Or should I just give him nothing but a wulfen stone.

Personally I'd take the Black Death as I'm not a fan of the Wulfen Stone.

I would only take the Wulfen Stone (and do) on a Thunderwolf-mounted Wolf Lord with a squad of TWC. For kitting out a WGBl, I'd take a SS (he has no native invuln, so it's a good deal) and maybe a Black Death or just a Thunder Hammer.

At 40pts, the Wulfen Stone is expensive, but I'd say it's worth it. I like rocking it in a 10x CCW Grey Hunters squad with a Wolf Banner to get the most out of the bonuses it provides. Not the most competitive option, but it will still put out a ton of hurt.

This exact load out is the only reason I was able to kill my opponent's Wraiths. They charged in, had like 30 attacks on the charge and wiped out the wraiths before they could even strike back. It was great.
