I'm making an aggressive strollaz list for an upcoming swedish comp tournament. Comp bracket is 8-14.
What do you think? Any way to improve it? The idea is to get in people's faces and mix it up ASAP, while relying on a high comp score to give me a VP buffer.

Dwarfs 2,500 points, 14 comp

Lord w/ 2x fortitude runes, 3x warding runes, shield, shieldbearers
Dragon slayer
Runesmith w/ tube of spellbreaking, greatweapon
Thank BSB w/ shield, master rune of valaya, rune of stoicism

Longbeards x40 w/ full command, greatweapon, strollaz

Gyrocopter w/ vanguard
Gyrocopter w/ vanguard
Hammerers x37 w/ full command, strollaz
Slayers x28, 5x champions, musician, standard, strollaz

I'm not an expert, but if you can find the points try and get RoMight and Swiftness on the Dragon Slayer, makes him super beast-mode. Better yet, find points for a Demonslayer (again with ASF and RoM on there)

I haven't played against gyros in a while, but can't you only vanguard half of them or something weird like that?

Remember that your three standards cannot only have one Strollaz rune each. They must have different combinations. They can alla have strollaz but two of them must have one other rune as well.

But yes, you need to tag some more runes onto those standards to be able to stroll. Given that longbeards and slayers may only take 50 point runic banners, while the hammerers can take 75 points in runes, you don't have too many options. And since you've got stoicism on the BSB, I'm guessing the idea is to have that on the hammerers? So we could end up with these banners:

LONG: Strollaz (35)
SLAY: Strollaz + Sanctuary (50)
HAMM: Strollaz + Stoicism (55)

I stuck MR(1) on the slayers because it seemed fluffy (runic tattoos!) and also to give them some shred of defense as they surge forward.

How to pay for that extra sanctuary rune? FakeBrit is right: you need to drop a vanguard upgrade on a gyro, only half of all gyros can vanguard. So that's taken care of!

And here's another snafu: you've paid for 2x fortitude on the lord, however you've also paid for 3x warding as well. The second fortitude gets you 5+ ward already, so you could either drop fortitude #2 (15 points) and go with the 4+ ward ... or drop all the wardings (45 points) and keep the 5+ ward from fortitude. I'd do the latter myself, and see about picking up a magical weapon of some level of nastiness - or upgrade the runesmith's spellbreaking to a spelleating - or both!

Instead of rune of stoicism on the hammerers, gve them rune of courage. It´s cheaper and they already have stubborn. Sadly, there is no rule for super stubborn. With the rune of courge they are both stubborn and immune to psychology. Some say ItP is bad, some say it´s good. I say good.

I thought stoicism was the 'break test on 1D6' rune. Is ancestry that one? Whatever it is, take's the one I meant - think it's 20 points as well?
