Subject: RiF OP 2 Build feedback

So I have a RiF 2 coming up and really can't decide on my list.
My biggest worry is a couple fo guys who will take a borg cube + small ship support & a Klingon 4 ship swarm, which has an annoying amount of re-rolls.
My ideas,
Borg Fleet
Borg Sphere 4270 39 (40 - 1)
Borg Queen 5 (6 - 1)
Cloaked mines 4 (3+1)
Magnus Hansen 0 (1-1)
Borg Sphere 37 (38-1)
Tactical Drone 2 (3-1)
Second of Five 2 (3-1)
Hive mind 0 (1-1)
Biggest worry is the normal sphere getting 1st turn killed before it gets to fire.
Rebel Fleet
Fighter Squadron 6 23 (24-1)
Support Ship 3 (4-1)
Coordinated Attack 2 (3-1)
Cover Fire 3 (4-1)
Scimitar 37 (38-1)
Jean-luc Picard 6 (6+1-1)
Independent Fleet Captain 4 (5-1)
Pavel Chekov 2 (3+1-1-1)
Attack Pattern Delta 3 (3+1-1)
Interphase Generator 2 (3-1)
Interphase Generator 2 (3-1)
Tactical Officer 1 (3-1-1)
Elizabeth Shelby 1 (2+1-1-1)
Counter Attack 2
Feels a bit heavy on the Scimitar but should be able to take anything that can be thrown at it for a turn or two.
Thoughts and feedback?

Double Check Rules for RIF2 to make sure ships and resources get the -1 SP, I can't remember if the do or don't but something tells me they don't.
The Scimitar will be pretty BA, 7 defence reroll blanks will be hot. No opinion on the Borg, I don't play them and until resently no one in my area played them, we only ran the for fun/narritive scenerios.

They don't get the -1, but admirals do so you should put Hiren on the Scimitar for 0pts, then your Picard is skill 11

So the ships and re-sources don't get -1 SP. Will have to have a bit of a rethink.
Thanks for the tip on Hiren, Will be taking him now.
Might drop the cloaked mines from the Borg build and go for 2 level 9 captains. Not as fun but if I can kill 2 bop's before they get there alpha strike in should make things a bit more balanced. Automatically Appended Next Post: Rebel fleet was a quick re-build, dropped cover fire from the fighters to save the required 3 points and added hiren for free.
Borg fleet bit of a rebuild, 2 base level spheres, one with level 9 queen and second of five, the other with pilchard.
Hoping that 6 dice attack and firing first will make the difference, still a bit worried about Klingon cloaked alpha strike, (lack of target lock re-rolls will hurt) but hopefully when I face that guy he'll be using his borg fleet and I'll have the scimitar.
Will let you know how it turns out.

So OP took place today,
Game one was my rebels vs a 90 borg tac cube. We killed each others blind. The fighters were untouched, and the scimitar had only taken two points of damage. Having borg data disable pilchard was very annoying.
Game was technically a draw, which isn't allowed so we had to dice off which I lost. Kind of annoying as he had discarded so many upgrades but the stupid rules mean cards that are discard still count towards your surviving fleet as long as the ship there on hasn't died. 2 more turns and I would have won.
Wasn't too upset as the chap I was playing was very fair about everything.
Game two was my borg vs voyager, a scout borg and bioship.
Everyhing went to plan and I tabled him in 5 turns having taken only a few points of shield damage.
Game three was vs Klingons.
This was my close friend and we have played many times. This was the one I feared as his 4 ships + booster put out so many attack dice I knew his alpha strike would kill a sphere.
I laid the mines down and begun a game of chicken circeling around the mines, managed to use two of five to get rid of status field before he got to use it.
The mines finishes off two of his ships, ended with 1 sphere for me and he had his Vulcan booster left, a narrow win on points.
Over all really enjoyed the day, came third and missed out on a prize ship by 2 fleet points!!! Having won OP 1 am in with a good chance of a cube 001 at the next event. But really don't like the sound of RiF3.
