i know it sounds dickish. There are decent guys that play in my local gaming clubs with intresting lives,girlfrends and high paying jobs. But there are also some serious nerds that play that kinda put me off the game its hardly a cool hobby or an ego boost hanging around them. One guy in particular is a particularly bad nerd of the worst kind.
What are your experiences? Know any hot girls that play? Cool guys that dont look flying rodent gak crazy?
Its funny how you think a girlfriend and high salary makes someone not a nerd... but you could always just play with the cool people outside the gaming clubs.

I would much rather play with an uber-nerd than someone incapable of expressing a thought in cogent, properly constructed, punctuated, and capitalized English.
