i'm entirely new to war gaming in general and started building up a Warhammer Chaos Daemons army to start with. I am looking to get into the hobby, but I'm a 100% noob and have no idea where to really get started.

i guess a good starting point would be to meet some other players and watch or play some games to get used to it (i'm already fairly familiar with most of the rules)? how do i get started from finding other players and resources (gaming cafes or materials or what not) to playing the first battle and beyond?

any direction / links are helpful.

(i live in Atlanta, btw)

Atlanta's pretty big place; there must be a game store or two. Head on down to one that has game tables and check it out!

Dakka also has a "Find a Game" area. Give that a look-see.

Use the gamesworkshop store finder on their website and hopefully there is one near you! They list their stockists on there as well! Best of luck, you are starting the grestest hobby there is.
