New from Eccentric Miniatures!

For all of you who wish to re-base your miniatures from 25mm to 32mm, here is one of the easiest solutions. Instead of ripping it off one base to glue to another, you can just add to the one that is already there. These adapter rings are made in two parts which allows you to glue around your existing base. You get 12 sets of adapter rings for $3. Available in two different internal widths to be used on a variety of plastic and scenic resin bases.

More information can be found here

Forgot to mention that I am working with FootSore Miniatures to get some of these to AdeptiCon. There will be a limited supply there, so get them while they last.

I submitted this announcement on Table Top Gaming News and TMP. Feel free to pass the word of the announcement and availability at AdeptiCon to other sites, if you want the glory of being the first one to "scoop" the story on other sites.

Thanks
Todd

looks good,

hope they sell well

Edit: I think you need to make it clearer on your website that you get 12 for $3, at the moment it looks like only 4

I must be missing something, what is the difference between A and B?

Is it where you got the original 25mm form?

He say's there is a difference in "internal width."

EDIT: On their website you can view closeups of the base rings. Comparing A and B, its pretty clear that the "A" bases are a bit smaller than the "B" bases thus requiring slightly thicker rings to fill out to 32mm.

Cool, thanks for making this in plastic. I don't have a need currently for them but I'll keep it in mind for the eventuality when the community starts to force the change onto players if more widley adopted by GW. It's a much better option than the MDF ones that weren't flush with the actual original bases and left a gap. Subscribed!

Thanks for making these. I haven't placed an order yet, but I will.

I can't wait until 10yrs from now when GW decides we need to go from 32mm to 38mm... the idea of a base with these rings with another set of rings on it sounds like the rings on a tree stump.

That is quite the grimdark narrative you're forging...

This is a very smart invention. I think you have made a lot of people very happy releasing these!

Are these rings sturdy enough to drill holes in them so that I could magnetize them?

Everything I say, barring quotes and researched information, is my personal opinion. Not fact.

Happy to see these. Really helps open up the back catalog of scenic bases for models using the new size.

The adapter rings are solid high impact polystyrene. I guess you could make a hole or two in them. Are you adding magnets so you can put them on and take them off again?

Are these beveled or just round?

Yes, although I don't play necrons much any more I still like to model and work on them but the thought of buying over a hundred sets of adapters to make them the new correct size is just a bit hard to swallow. Thank you for answering my question once I get my next paycheck I'll be buying 10 sets of adapters so at least I can have the army the correct bases size when I play

I don't think anyone is saying you have to go to 32. I think it's more about looks. Is there an advantage/disadvantage in game play if the base size is bigger/smaller, I'm not really sure, I didn't want to focus on that.

Thanks
Todd

There are actually a couple advantages to using the various size, but out of respect for you I'll drop it. THank you very much for help look forward to ordering them from you.
